The other half is insistent in her want of a labradoodle or a goldendoodle...better that than pressure for a child of the human variety, I guess.

But human children can earn EQMs. :D

My Saturday burger came on CO stoneware.

Short of using nuclear fuel, do you think there's anyway they can get that stuff any hotter?

A Five Guys just opened by us, but it's towards Kettleville as opposed to towards town. Worth the culture shock?

Lots of a/c for sale in AM. Enjoy the fire sale. All a/c at 20% off value. No more competition at LAX and IAH.

No, I wouldn't be worried at all. I never showed up on the upgrade or standby lists and I had no problems boarding.

Hope you guys enjoyed your weekend in Chicago!

Still can't print my BP for the last flight this evening - I just had the GA in PIT print out my itinerary to show that the segment was still on the itinerary and that I had a confirmed first seat. So I have four possibilities:

* Get a BP at the next airport without a problem,
* Get a BP by having the segment recoded as a full-fare like in the past (preferred, as would result in 3x status miles),
* Call SMS and pull rank (not preferred), or
* Scan my SkyTeam Elite card to board the AC.

Perhaps one of the reasons DL is having problems creating a boarding pass is that they are showing my next segment as a DC-9-50 (routine), with the final segment as a DC-9-10/20 (which probably doesn't have a seat map loaded).

Also - I think Hartmann was leaving as I arrived - otherwise, I would have sprung for breakfast or lunch (as I did with Gargoyle).

I like the concept of "Kettleville" - a place to be visited when desired. If you don't have a peanut allergy, I think it's a good place to visit at least once. Just don't place a large order of fries for a single person.

Yup. And met patalan on the flight. We were 3/4 good seats in 16, with the middles empty and a random who moved back from 15C in the fourth seat.

It's a good thing; really!

Indeed, it was. The ISM was actually great and we talked for a while about the trip and what we were doing. Hopefully he'll show up on FT one of these days.

Almost nap time now; there is plenty of baseball on to sleep to now.

Is this the one at I-10 and Bunker Hill, near Memorial City Mall? I'd say try it. I went. Maybe they have improved their consistency compared to what I was used to from the 5Gs in the northeast. The burger didn't have the same taste as what I had come to expect when I used to live up in Philly. Is there really any harm in trying it once? When I was there a "kettle" pulled up in a F430 Spyder to grab some take-out.

My dog and I happened across the Easter Bunny(a human in a bunny suit) during our long Sunday morning walk. Neither one of us quite knew what to make of the other.

Did they automaticly give you the OpUp or did you have to ask for it?

For me, the GA scanned my BP the machine beeped. As the GA was handing me my BP back he saw something on the comp. and pressed a button (the long beep made him look back at whatever it said) and said it looks like you have been upgraded and the machine printed out a 2x2 inch piece of paper with all my info and my new seat number.

Same happened with my mother. My dad said he got the long beep but I guess the GA didnt press whatever he did before so my dad kept his seat, until someone same and said he was in their seat. By that time another GA came onboard and said that Patalan+2 were all upgraded.

:(

Once all those aircraft have found new homes, we'll have a spot for someone that wants to play.

No, REAL Kettleville, Rosenberg. It's off of 59 South.

None at all; I just want to make sure it's good before I drag a vegetarian to a burger joint. ;)

That long beep tells the boarding agent that you have a new seat, or you are holding a paper ticket, or you have handed over the wrong boarding pass, or a few more things.

I just passed through AUS security with Paul Begala and his family. He seemed less pleased than you might think for someone who is so happy in his CNN profile picture. Flying CO in F, of course. Stuck his kids in Y. ;)
