We are out of fresh vension at our house (and I haven't seen any deer today in the yard). However, this version does have beef and pork in it, so I'm part way there.

And the seat still lacks padding, and has armrests that are rectangular in shape and hard and don't really seem to fit the contour of your arm very well.

Despite what CO likes to claim about there being very limited choices for Y seats on the market, it is possible to get comfortable seats for economy. WN has some of the most comfortable Y seats I've ever found, and some of UA's aren't bad either. Yet most of CO's are like sitting on a board after about an hour.

ah true, talking about NRT, not been on a 777 in Y on anything but AA, and it was terrible there....iirops put me in the middle of the middle in the back, no fun at all and the airflow was either blasting you out or non existant.(probably an AA thing but I don't know)

I can't imagine doing it for that length of flight, no matter how cheap the fare. It's impossible to be even remotely comfortable when your knees are jammed into the back of the seat in front of you no matter how you sit.

Xanax + G&T makes IAH-AMS/CDG/LHR tolerable.

Then of course, it went away and only 1 seat available for u/g - we were #2 and #3 on the list. Sigh, so close but so far back. Then of course the guy in the middle was quite large (I was good about giving him the armrest and some extra room. Across from me - mother and 2 kids. She asked for extra sick bags because the kids tend to get sick often (they were fine). I was miserable on the four hour flight, can't imagine doing CO Y to Asia.

Sounds like a good time to put some drink coupons to good use...if you still have any left!

Add in the exit rows so knees are not in the back of the seat in front and it adds up to good for me!

I will admin sitting in the 'premium' seats on the 752 is not a mistake I will ever make again, nasty seats there with negative legroom when they person reclines.

When you lean against the window your head is against the wing which is much thicker. I have much less problems with my neck then.

The 777 exit seats are completely different seat than the rest of Y. The non-exit seats are more comfortable. I once had to switch mid flight and the comfort difference was noticable.

Huh, never knew that. I've only flown on a CO 777 once in Y, and that was as a non-elite on a domestic flight. On every other domestic flight the EUA has cleared, and I've never flown CO internationally in Y. I know, I'm spoiled. But I think I've walked behind the BusinessFirst bulkhead into coach only once or twice ever on a CO 777.

I've flown on COs 76s and 77 in Y a few times to Europe, and it wasn't terrible. Most recently, I flew EWR-LHR, and it wasn't too bad at all. Of course, I got an entire row to myself both ways, so that made it a lot better.

I'm not as tall as ssullivan though, so I can definitely understand his dilema.

100K for BF to Europe is such a waste, especially when 120K will get you to S. Africa or Asia in style. :D

Also, 100K + ~$485 (thank you, plummeting £) will get me F on LX, SQ or UA to Europe, and 37.5K + ~$365 will get me C on those, plus LH, OS, SK, TP, LO, TK & BD :D :D

I don't think everyone spends points for BF, some actually buy it you know :D
