Hmmm - sometimes 24 hours isn't long enough to decide... :)

I never understand how people find their way around Atlanta with all the Peachtrees.

I don't want to bring this up in the photo thread but I'm wondering if anyone's had any experience with giving photo permission to nowpublic.com? They just asked about a JetBlue photo I have but I'm reluctant to do it mainly because it's one of those sites you have to get an account just so they can use your photo. I find that weird for some reason.

I had the same question a few weeks ago here in The Box and sdm1130 said this.

That, plus the fact that there is absolutely no street grid in most of Atlanta. Streets curve around and intersect at odd angles; sometimes five or six come together at a single intersection. There's no logic to any of it, and after nine months, I'm still not comfortable in certain areas of the city. To make matters worse, not only do street names change often, but they are often not signed well. And then there are the lanes, which often come and go with little or no warning. A four lane street will suddenly be two lanes, then six lanes, then maybe three, and then back to four. Many of the roads in Atlanta are also far better suited for a rural farming community than a large city. It's a mess. I hate driving in Atlanta.

You can only fly on days that start with the letter Q? I love those offers.

How exciting. I purchased my first B-Up fare :D

Flyer_70 Feb 19, 2009 6:32 pm

I have 20 minutes until "go" time - when I can cancel the NRT trip. I am seriously on the fence right now. The 1.5 hour turn time will keep me up at night.

Editing - I'm out. Cancelled.

Keep us posted on how that goes, I'm likely to do the same with some NW\DL miles that have just been hanging out.

Only 55 minutes on the phone, but eventually it happened. Now I have to figure out if I want the front cabin or the mini-cabin on the 772. :D

Definitely the main cabin.

+1

How long did it take to transfer the DL points to NW? Is it instant?

I upgraded one of mine with CO miles but the other I may burn NW miles.

Sounds like a lot of people are bailing on the NRT fare... I have until tomorrow AM to decide if I am going.
