$500 SEA-NRT B fare is no more

Looks like the powers to be have fixed the fare.

jrzyshawn Feb 19, 2009 2:58 pm

I don't think everyone spends points for BF, some actually buy it you know :D

I have bought the summer discount fares before. No way I would pay full fare for BF. It is a sub-par hard-product compared to many TATL products these days.

Or better yet, some actually have their companies buy it for them.

I depends on the dest and the price, CO is about 60% less than some competitors on normal prices, I will likely be paying BF some places later this year because it is only about 2-3x the cost of coach and 14+ hours on a plane is tiring in any seat or bed.

Ok, chili is simmering for the next couple hours. You still have time to get here, but the roads are a total mess.

I will look for flights. I might be a little delayed though. Keep some hot on the stove for me!

Also, 100K + ~$485 (thank you, plummeting £) will get me F on LX, SQ or UA to Europe, and 37.5K + ~$365 will get me C on those, plus LH, OS, SK, TP, LO, TK & BD :D :D

Not arguing with you on any of that, but at the rate I've been earning OnePass miles the last few years, 100,000 is a drop in the bucket. And of course I've also done the upgrade thing, as well as taken advantage of BusinessFirst fare sales, to get across the Atlantic up front as well.

We rarely have the Q400 here in CLE. Plenty of Q200, but pretty rare for the bigger one.

On another note, I was perusing new SUVs today. I'm torn between a Pathfinder and a Pilot.

The biggest dose of suck that will come with the transition to *A will be the grossly inflated RTW redemption rates. 300K for C, 400K for F? Whoopee...

I'm inclined to book another set of them before the Oct. 24 switchover for 2010 travel, then use schedule changes to make my way onto *A airlines. :D

Yeah, no kidding. I've already been dreading the inflation in RTW rewards that's coming.
