Much of their coverage is through 3rd party roaming agreements. They have a pretty limited native coverage footprint.

yes even their roaming agreements are limited. They don't target people that have cars because if you have a car and drive a mile you will be out of range :rolleyes:

Dear god. I take a few days off and the box if overflowing and the forum in general has gone to shambles.

Today's fun fact of the day. One can not read a page in the box (set at 40 per page) in the amount of time it takes to get from NY Penn to the Jersey end of the tunnel.

I finally saw that video last week after hearing about it for so long. I just don't get it. Then again, I just don't get DL.

I have to admit something myself. The gf and I did CDG-EWR on a 752 in row 16 and it actually wasn't bad. I slept for a good portion of it and would have slept for more if I wasn't awoken by a certain someone.... the food was even decent. It was as though I was on a bizarro airline.

Oh EU, how I love your unintended kitsch. :D

Reminds me of the Family Guy where they play the Night Court theme.... but how can you beat that?

I already told the fiancee that I want to swing by Boeing Field and see if I can see any abnormal paint jobs that one might not see in the USA. And I was adamant in my desire that she sees the fishmongers and that we do a photo walk thru Pike Market and the waterfront.

You pass Boeing field going to the city from the airport or vice versa plus you can spot the planes from I-5 with no problems. It's a quick detour on the way out of the airport or on the way back. Just head to the airport six hours early and you'll be fine. :D

I despise CDG. CO gets a big fat :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: to their CDG operation and staff. The layout of the lines is terrible such that you can't see the Elite line. So, I got in the BF line thinking it was a combo line. The agent booted me and told me to go into the Elite line, even though there was no one waiting. I go over there to get called up by an agent. But the line nazi scolded me for not showing her my passport, even though the agent kept calling me up.

Pathetic!

When I clicked on my Yahoo mail, I saw the AP headline;
GM, Chrysler seek more govt aid, to cut more jobs.
Oh the irony of getting stimulus money and cutting jobs.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Tomorrow we are booked EWR-IAH. We want to do the confirmed standby. Is there any reason we can't do this with a connection vs. the non stop?
