When are you going to be in PHL, kind sir?

From 11:30pm on March 27 until 07:00am on March 28 (overnight connection to the US flight). As I'll be traveling with the Significant Otter, and as we have such a short overnight, I don't think I'll be getting out to see PHL that evening. :(

Westin San Fran. Yay or nay?

If you are referencing the Westin San Francisco Market Street, I've heard nothing but good things. I'll be staying there for the first time next weekend.

You still have to go to Tony Luke's or Pat's, even if it's 1am.

Yes. It's 4 blocks from my meeting and was 109/night.

Despite baglady's nay, I went ahead and booked it. If, for no other reason, convenience.

Nope, Flying Heritage Collection is Paul Allen's private collection located by Payne Field. It's not related to Boeing, but well worth the few bucks they are charging. http://www.flyingheritage.com/

There's also the Me 262 project where they actually produce Me 262 now!! Also by Payne Field http://www.stormbirds.com/project/index.html

Free admission, but a donation is appreciated.

When I was there in September the bus that took us on the tour of the Boeing Field plant drove by the parked planes and then onto the Flying Heritage meuseum where you had the option to de-bus and one got a discount of a dollar or two for the Flying Heritage Museum. This was during the strike so perhaps it was something special but seemed a regular routing.

I'm partial to EDI, as I absolutely loved the three years I spent there. Haven't been to CPH, so can't compare it. There's always plenty to do in and around EDI, even in March. Expect 40s and intermittent rain squalls at that time of year.

EDI and CPH sound very similar as far as weather, cost and sites to see. I'm very torn (although, the FT in me wants to go with CPH for the extra miles ).

Any experience with the Sheraton in EDI?

Stick around; we're not that bad. :p

I haven't heard the new iPhone rumors too much, but I generally ignore them until there is actually something substantive. There were lots of rumors about things like a bigger drive for the holiday season that fell through so maybe that is coming. But other than that, there isn't much that they can really add to the device that I can think of, other than a usable keyboard. ;)

Thanks for the welcome. I take a peek in here from time to time and often find a lot of the banter very funny.

Apple has publicly stated that their release schedule for the iPhone falls in the June/July time frame. I'd expect to see some updates (this week's rumor is video conferencing) in 4-5 months.

Welcome, EWRFlyerAL! You're always welcome to join us but we do require that you read all 30k+ posts. :D

I heard those rumors too within the last week. Unless there is some spectacular advancement, I like my 3G as well, and hope it lasts longer than my original one, which died at 14 months.
