About how long does it take to walk between Terminal D and Terminal C at PDX? It doesn't look far and if I remember correctly it can be done without going through security...
I'd much rather hang out in the Alaska Boardroom versus the NWA WorldClub. |

I would rather drive and save the money. If two people went down, it would cost about $200. r/t. If I drive, it would cost me about $25.
I don't think the train is convenient, because it used the NEC track and has to go all the way into PA to hook onto the AC line. The published time is about 2.5 hours. If I go to AC, I will drive, but I guess their target market is NYC where is it not practical to have a car. |

Too expensive and too slow. I'd rather take a death bus if I were going to ACY and save the money.

At PDX, all terminals are behind security, so could walk from C to D, and it's not a long walk at all. That said, however, the Boardroom is only available to you if you're flying on AS metal. You may be able to talk your way in, but last I heard, those were the rules.

I'd much rather hang out in the Alaska Boardroom versus the NWA WorldClub. Actually, Hartmann, I would recommend hitting both the Boardroom and the WorldClub. The WC used to be the old DL CRC when DL had international flights out of PDX, and, consequently, is much nicer than the average WC. IMO it is the nicest WC in the US, behind only the DTW Terminal A WorldClubs (and in some ways, it is nicer than those). The Boardroom is nice, but very small. You should stop by to get your fix of soup, though. |

Both the AS and CO websites state that a same day ticket on either metal allows PC members in.

It takes about six or seven minutes to walk from the CO gates to the Boardroom, if you walk briskly.

Agreed. I didn't bother going in to the Boardroom (although, I walked past it and agree with the 7-10 minute time) but the NW WC was actually pretty decent while I was there. IIRC, it's just a few gates down to your right after you deplane.

Alright, you guys have twisted my arm, I'll check out both the BoardRoom and the WC. :p
I definitely need my soup... |
Has anyone seen reasonable last minute fares for travel out of EWR this weekend? I was hoping the continental.com specials would have something, but I'm not too interested in any of them. I'm sure I'm too late (especially with it being Valentine's day and President's Day weekend) but thought I'd ask to see if anyone came across something reasonable. Either 2/13-2/16 or 2/14-2/16 - International is fine.
