Where are the pictures from that flight? I saw some of them but don't know where to look for the rest.

There are "box lurkers?" Why would anybody lurk around here? They certainly can't be looking for information or to eavesdrop on any interesting conversation. It beats me.

Since you're around, I have a Florida hockey conundrum for you: would you under any circumstances deal Jay Bouwmeester at the deadline? The thinking up this way is that Scott Clemmensen has played solidly enough to earn a platoon or starting job elsewhere at the NHL level. We also have a growing part of the NJD fan base that wants to see Madden, Pandolfo and/or Gionta leave due to poor production and the Devils seeming ability to win without them in their traditional roles. A smaller amount of people would say the same for Colin White. Would any combination of those five names and maybe a pick thrown in make you want to move Jay Bo?

Most of us have links to the pic that we took in F with the crew after everyone had deplaned. I'll forward you that link in a PM.

Sure, and there are a number of Box residents who can vouch for me being a nice but rapidly thinning chap - I brought Goo Goo Clusters to share and made sure Larry had his choice Friday night.

A lot of Mystery Flight pictures are posted in this thread.

No way. Bouwmeester is a big time defenseman and nobody wins with (thanks to icuhere2) out at least one of those. These are the guys that you build your team around.

Everybody prays for one of them and you are going to get him for a bunch of players who have seen better days or whom the Panthers do not need?

All these pics are very nice, but I want to see what the 4AM risers looked like on the flight down to IAH from PHL.

Thank you for the correction icurhere2. Typographical errors again rule the day.:)

You mean before hammered? Here are the blog postings. And drinking from the full-size is classy.

Past Panthers regimes have not been the most intelligent traders - ref: Luongo, Roberto. And despite their ages, I would argue that all of those named players could still compete for at least a few more years, Clemmensen especially.

Check your PM's for at least two good shots. Have you borne witness to the famous leaning tower of miniature empties that sbm12 and rolov created in the exit row?

Well, to be perfectly fair, I took a photo of three thinning heads in that shot. Four if you count the one on stage. But if you like, I could try to photoshop it for improved flattery quotient. :D

Good catch, icurhere2. Welcome back to our den of Seinfeldian nothingness.

We actually have some real information here everyonce and a while. A few loved our photography discussions. I was amazed to meet so many people who lurk. When you think about, how many of the 500 people (about 25 no shows) actually post on the any of these boards much less the OnePass board? I, as well as others in the box would get the occasional glancing stares from some as if we were lepers or something.

I don’t think too many photos were taking on the plane. Two people were up front (slept after drinks), 2 in row 5 (slept after drinks), I was in 7 (wondered why anyone would watch HS musical 3 while listening to iPod after a few cocktails) and the rest were in 12 and 14. I think only me, rolov, and sbm12 took photos. But those were typically of the drink bottle mountain. When we met up at the adjoining UA gate at PHL we talked and I never even thought of breaking out the camera then. I wish we could share the group photo but that was taken by a pro photographer and it might end up in the employee newsletter.

Yeah...what can I say. I'm full of class, or something. :p That photo is actually from CO9920, not the party flight.

That image is towards the bottom of the page on the www.continentaldo.com page, and it was a major feat of engineering genius. I'll admit that I actually cheated to do it. The empties were just not stable enough so I actually weighted the bottom three with some of my ginger ale to get them solid enough to function as a base for the tower. I couldn't have been too drunk; I was still able to remember some of my engineering background. ;)

But they don't need Clemmensen because Vokoun is a very good and proven commodity. Let's see how Clemmensen's ability holds up after he has been around the league enough for those guys to get a handle on him.

As far as the Luongo thng is concerned, a prior administration got him in a trade with Milbury who was so intent on getting rid of him that he threw in a trade for Ollie Jokinen for a relatively static goal garbage collector and a flaky Russian who would show up and have a great game on alternate Wednesdays and the rest of the time look like he was picking his toenails. I've seen too many hockey players to actually remember their names but if they skated out on the ice today I could point them out to you.

Oh yes, I just remembered the Russian's name was Oleg Kvasha. The other will come back to me after a while.
