My size 14's (Are you about a size 14?) made the footwell unacceptably tight with shoes on, but I still think the comments people are making should be taken with a grain of salt because they were the smallest seats of any that CO have bought. Anyone of a height like mine or gbryan84, etc. should not have issues if on a 777 or a center-section 787 seat. Complaints about that seat are more justified in a 757 context.

This will be the last day of my internet disaster at home. I should have connectivity by this time tomorrow.
I was paying $75 a month just for basic family cable. New customers pay $99 a month for Phone, Internet and Cable.
Tomorrow they will connect it all. I will be happy tomorrow.

Verizon customer service SUCKS. They just suck…..

Anyways, tomorrow will be a brighter day

Of course, if there's an NYS resident involved, we could also have a fairly easy time of getting times at Bethpage. I really want to play the other four courses at the State Park...the Black is something to do again, but I'd need to be about 80 pounds lighter given the walking and the horrific elevation changes. At least the Red, Blue, Green and Yellow courses allow carts. I wonder if the baglady twosome would come up for such an outing.

And there's a bottle in it for you no matter what. :D

Im pretty sure the black is out of the question since the USGA will shut it down well before the US open in June .

Folgers has more flavor than that. I suspect it's something like New England Coffee's breakfast blend which I find to be near flavorless.

I think it might be this swill with CO actually importing Louisiana water to brew it.

I'm drinking Panamanian coffee at the moment. I think I'm going to cry when it runs out.

We would possibly come. My +1 is a golfer.

I just Googlemapped for the customary S's and G's, and Bethpage State Park is a 40-minute drive from LGA. Beats the hell out of the 3+ hours it took me from Down the Shore. I said it at the Do (hopefully Mr. BL adds the book to his reading list) and I'll say it again: John Feinstein wrote an amazing book about the 2002 Open and what it took to get Bethpage in the shape for it. Open: Inside the Ropes at Bethpage Black. It mentions the other courses only in passing, but it's a terrific story. If we pull Bethpage together, that's special to the point that it should be a Penalty Box Invitational and we should play at least 36. There's a not-half-bad Hilton about 7 minutes from the Black tee boxes too.

Has anyone seen how VS makes their coffee? You think they toss one of those prepackaged filter bags in the pot and add hot water. The thing is, the bag is empty when they pull it out. It's instant coffee.

It might even be closed for prep already - I think in '02 the last day of public play was late Feb. or very early March. It reopened (IIRC) late in the week after the Open. I don't know if the USGA does the same thing that the Tour does...the Tour sells a Monday Experience, where suitably affluent nutcase amateurs can play the Sunday course setup.

Bethpage Negro will reopen from April 14 through May 31, Tuesdays through Sundays, with half the usual tee times

ETA: they are not tweaking it that much this year .

Does anyone remember the Asian male graduate student from Michigan that lost his Company Store purchases at the Friday night party? The Marriott never located his bag and I am at a blank about his name/handle. If you know his name/handle please let me know. Thanks.

Sure - size 14 (minus 6). ;) I did not find it unacceptably tight, but it was a bit narrow.
