I'm still on the distribution list for Atlantic City Convention and Visitors Authority press releases, and I mention this because Atlantic City was recently voted by ForbesTraveler as one of the top 10 golf cities in the country. A few Boxers already know about the qualty courses down this way, but I thought I'd mention it...the term "birdie" was coined at a course not too far from the casinos. :)

Make sure you ask for the 5 year, I have heard of people getting the 90 day

I specifically requested a 5-year, showed evidence of two flights to Brazil more than 90 days apart, and ended up with the 90-day.

I chose to simply connect through GRU to EZE on the second trip, as I wasn't going to give the Brazilian authorities the satisfaction of another visa fee. I'm sure Argentina and Uruguay were happy to have my $$$.

One hour until my new 734 arrives...slow but steady fleet modernization...:D

Are they fee-gouging or something? Or is it  toward visiting Americans?

Sadly true nowadays. Honda has been great to me, but once I run this car into the ground I think the new Maxima is where I'm looking first. My fiancee has an Altima and loves it.

I'm thinking this might be my next new Honda

If there were a "Cruise Memory", I could pair Little Creek, VA and Guantanamo Bay ...

What else do you expect from an American made car? ;) :D

My American-made 1998 has 176,000 (and the requisite right rear spring broken).

Yeah, painfully true. I have a dented fender that I would try to replace myself...got the replacement fender and everything. I think I see the bolt that holds that on, but with my luck when it comes to things mechanical, that bolt is probably the one that keeps the front suspension attached or something like that.

I bought a whole new front end for my vehicle from the regional Pull-A-Part and used the free Vehicle Repair Guide from autozone.com to tell me what to do and how.

Could be both. I really enjoyed Brazil, but doubt I will head back until the visa thingy gets sorted out. There were rumors about a year ago that the visa and fee requirements (for Brazilians coming to the US and vice-versa) would be scrapped. No sign of it so far.

Was that during a time in life while you were Sleeping, Eating, And Living it up? Or were you one of the regulars who kept muttering that you should Never Again Volunteer Yourself?

I get frustrated in the process of building model airplanes. I'm not opposed to learning how to get my hands dirty in a way that would benefit me (as opposed to explosives) but I wouldn't want to experiment on my own method of transportation.

In the world of DEQMs, I just received an offer for fast track to WN's A-List status. 10 flights between now and 6/15 will get me A-List status through EOY.

The front end makes me think that the designers were watching reruns of Flipper. And yeah, I could go for one of those too.

It is a reciprocity thing. Ever since the USA started gouging visitors on visa fees Brazil has been returning the favor. It is rumored that Argentina will be, too, but that seems to be stalled for the moment.

What's the porpoise of them watching reruns?

The Argentina thing seems to be more of a fee rather than a visa .
