Welcome back!
Hope the gaggle of
giggling high schoolers
didn't disturb your beauty
sleep on the flight back
from HNL.

The latter. Accounts for half the personal items in my office and the fascination with PTY and the Canal ...

How was the North Shore?

Way too quick and generally rainy. No shrimp shack though I did see the one everyone said I should go to. Had lunch at some Golf Course that had incredible views and what looked like killer bunkers.

Do you want me to clean them up first with minor cropping or just post them as is?

The Curse of the Tiki.

Due to the influence of CM, I'm driving out to the range on Saturday.

I love it when I have a client in a major city who manages to negotiate rates at a multitude of hotels in the area. Especially when those rates are up to 70% off the normal weeknight rate. Case in point, my new client in the LA area has a rate at a FS Marriott that's about a 68% discount from the best available rate on Marriott's website. And I need those Marriott nights this month to complete my MegaBonus challenge. Even better is they have similar rates at a variety of other area hotels. For future trips this should come in very handy with maximizing bonus points and elite requalification this year with Marriott, Hilton, and Starwood.

I almost went that way. I passed the advanced programs exam and was quite close to signing up to be a nuke.

ETA: Post 6,6:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Sadly no. A lot of stuff I use to have as a kid so that was fun but nothing special.

Do corporate rates like that earn credits with Marriott?

From 2001-2004, I had a negotiated rate of $88 a night on the concierge level of the LAX Hilton, and parking was thrown in as a comp. And I did earn stays and double-dip credits.
