Just got off the phone for f/u to my iterview on Tuesday, and the call came with a nice offer.

Details to be worked out, but all is good here with a new job and a nice salary increase.

Too early for a drink, I think, but we'll rectify over the weekend.

If you end up spending time over here I recommend the Tarrytown Doubletree. Just finished a (97 year, 19 bazillion dollar) renovation and is the nicest branded property in the area. Would be about 10 min. to Hawthorne and is easy to get to the MTA train for jaunts into Manhattan.

If you need any recommendations on anything, let me know.

In other news, I think CO rev. management finally woke up. Their Buy-Up fares are reasonable. I have a bunch of Left Coast stuff coming up and B's EWR - SFO are mid $500's. That's very reasonable in my opinion for guaranteed up-front in both directions. @:-)

The unfortunate consequence to this is EUA's are going to become few and far between. :(

On an amusing note, I met Flavor Flav in the lobby of the Sheraton. No clock, no posse.

IMO, skip CL and go with Stubhub. You'll pay a bit more, but you won't have to worry about getting tickets that are "apparently printed on some sort of cracker."

I've always found that being a victim of a scam is a great way to ruin a date.

I was late for an appointment to kiss a$$ for a job, but I really wanted him to do a "yeaaaaahhhhhhhh boyyyyyyyyy" for my ring tone!

Wow, I am glad I did not pull the trigger on the LAS tickets I mentioned a while back (conference in Oct.). The price dropped from $350 to $250 overnight.

Now I'm wondering if I should wait even longer.
