A clue I haveth not. Friday will be my first transit of IAH. It says "Gate E9 (Terminal C)" while for the PHL departure it says "D-8 (Terminal D)." I would think that arriving into E on Friday would be a good thing, since that would put us closer to the company store.

Some of the C south gates are just as far away from E4 as some of the E gates. There's a gloomy diagonal walkway connecting E to C baggage claim. E has the best moving walkways I've ever used if that means anything either.

I thought we were doing the PC on arrival. I was thinking of heading to the hotel a bit after 5 and then be back at the Marriott before 7 PM.

Update on the meet WX forecast. There will be no  this upcoming weekend. Low to mid 70s with lots o' sun!^ It has been dry lately, and will continue to be dry through this weekend.

For you all coming from up north, this will feel like summer.

Random thought for the Box: If you return a call from your bank's risk management section, don't go off on a rant about how the analyst you're talking to must be a crook and a scammer and that you're going to report them to the authorities. You probably got the call for a good reason.

(I'm a bankcard fraud analyst and I'm really, truly sick of getting yelled at by paranoid people)

Too bad the IAH-EWR flight on the 777 is at 11:30am, it is impossible for me to connect on a same day turn for some of the NE MRs.

Absolutely! I'm just jealous - we probably won't start until around 12:30 or so at CLE.

BTW - anyone else going to be on CO1545 on Friday out of CLE? We'll be in the PC pre-flight for cocktails.

Attn bmi wh:rolleyes:res: (I mean that in the nicest possible way)

I want to book SQ F JFK-FRA, but there are no seats available at the moment, should I reserve a C seat now and change later, or just wait.

Thanks

I see CLEHillbilly on that flight, too.

SU to discontinue IL-96 and Tu-154M flights in October 2009. Looks like the retirement date coincides with CO leaving SkyTeam. DEL and BKK are two markets where SU deploys the IL-96. Those who want to ride on one might consider burning some CO miles whilst there's still a chance.

ETA - Post 28,000!

With BD, if you want to change flights, do you have to cancel the entire reward and rebook it under a new PNR?

If there are C seats available, book them and change later. What's wrong with LH F, btw:confused:

Nope, but you have to stay on the same routing.

They charge the following:

Before ticketing to change/cancel (usually tickets 7 days after reservation is made). No charge if CC has not been charged.

To cancel and redeposit miles: 25GBP Pr. reservation, not pr. ticket.
To change (class, dates or flights, same routing): 20 GBP Pr. reservation, not pr. ticket.

Thanks for the tip - will let you know if they say no. :D

For the other two hockey nuts on FlyerTalk: the crawl on ESPN said today that Marty Brodeur expects to return on 2/26 against Colorado. I can't find confirmation of this anywhere so far.
