Maybe this is one of the announcements at the DO. The Team picks one and the customers pick one?

Which seats would be better: Center Ice 2 rows behind your favorite team's bench, or something higher up (better view?), or something near the goal your team will be shooting at twice? |

Center Ice 2 rows behind the benches are good for getting the color but not for watching the game. Things just move too fast for proper viewing when you are that close. |
I'm sick. Really, really, really sick. I just bought nonstop ATL-BTR and BTR-ATL flights on DL/ASA. And it involves a CRJ both ways. I always fly CO to/from BTR via IAH, but this trip requires flying home Friday afternoon, and the nonstop on DL was just the only thing that made sense. So now I've got to suck it up and fly the d@mn CRJ for the first time this year in a couple of weeks. At least it will be a new FM line. A line I hope I don't ever have to repeat.

Just ran into an employee from the budget office at my client at the manager's reception at the Embassy Suites. He said "What are you doing here?" My response was "I'm staying here, what are you doing here?" Turns out he lives just around the corner and he and the wife come over here about once a week for free drinks and snacks after work. And they apparently also do the same for Sunday breakfast a couple of weekends a month. Of course he's telling me this while we're waiting for a drink at the bar, within ear shot of the bartender, who was obviously listening in. We'll see how long their little scheme lasts now.
There is someone is my industry who is pretty infamous for doing this. Also does the same thing for breakfast and makes his employees do the same thing. They are completely embarassed of course but he pretty much forces them to do it :td: I wonder if this will become more commonplace in a down economy. |

We are also flying back from CDG on Tuesday at 12:25. We'll arrive in St. Malo on Friday morning via overnight Ferry from Portsmouth.
Don't have a hotel reservation yet. Last time in St. Malo (1999) we stayed at the Best Western "Central" which is within the city walls (also next door to a "PMU" - the offtrack betting parlor and bar!). We'd like to stay there again, but are curious where everyone else will be. See you at IAH! |
The computer is acting up tonight!

Was watching hotel TV last night as I was falling asleep after trying to catch up on the day's worth of the Box. Pulp Fiction was on...
Vincent: ...And you know what they call a Quarter Pounder with Cheese in the Penalty Box? Jules: They don't call it a Quarter Pounder with Cheese? Vincent: Nah, man, they got the  system. They wouldn't know what the  a Quarter Pounder is. Jules: What do they call it? Vincent: They call it a " with Cheese." I should really start spending less time catching up on this thing... |
