I'll be in Los Angeles this weekend sans Baglady and Baglady, Jr.

Baglady - I was looking at CO.COM to see where Jr and I could fly this weekend but decided not to go.

Mr Baglady - At least you're not going to Dallas, twice, like I read in the Box the other day. (I'd had no idea this was even under consideration.)

Baglady - Yes, but I am going there next week.

Mr Baglady - I didn't know you were going.

Baglady - Well, you should have kept up on the Box and you'd know these things.

Ahem.

ROFLMAO!

Over dinner, I was reading the WSJ which had the new Lufthansa club featured. I started a discussion on clubs and found out MR BL had never been to an airline club before traveling with me (including the times he had int'l biz tix) It's amazing what I've done to better his life

We say that about each other - we've each done wonders to the other's lives in a little less than 3 years.

Yeah, we have one of those lists as well. She doesn't understand that me going to a country before we go together actually benefits her in the long run.

I tried this argument just now, and I was met with: "It doesn't work that way.":rolleyes: When I pressed further and asked if a banned country list was in place between us, I got a simple answer: "Everywhere. You mean you don't want to travel with me?" (Someone rescue me and plan a Box golf trip in Cabo...)

That's awesome. If this is the level of communication I have to look forward to in my marriage, I can't wait. I'd love to be able to tell my fiancee that she can check a website for what's going on in my life...then I'd be in rehab after she breaks my legs, but the look on her face might be worth it.

I have been advised that my fiancee needs her laptop back, and that "I have two minutes to say goodnight to my boyfriends."

OMG -- that really made me laugh out loud...not the standard LOL, but an audible chuckle! My hubby is not on FT yet, but is intrigued... he certainly loved CO DO IV!

He should join - FT is clearly work-related.

Always use an ATM at your final destination to get local currency.

Yep, that's what I do. I sometimes exchange some before leaving (a small amount) just to have some when I hit the ground, but I do most of my exchanges at ATMs.

Probably not the same person, but two of them were quite psychotic. Fortunately, I never married either of them.
