I heard he has been permanently affixed to the interior of a Q400 as Colgan Air's new IFE.

That's a no-pressure job: doing standup in Row 1 of a Q400.

Really? I thought they had wedged him into the bathroom and they couldn't pry him out.

That's usually the ssullivan problem of the day.

Why should the two have to be mutually exclusive? :D

That's a whole new definition for potty humor. :D

I think ssullivan may still be attempting to cool off from his National rant. Clearly he should have called Enterprise, they could have picked him up. :D

How did you pull off the upgrade?

I usually stick with Avis or Hertz as they are USUALLY less hassle, though I do not think ssullivan has the option for work travel.

In my younger days I cheaped out and went Thrifty, but got tired of beat up cars and rental centers miles away from the airport.

I am guessing it may be on the HNL legs, not SYD. If so, he better be sharing his secret!

:D

I stick with Avis because they are cheapest. Generally by a lot.

I looked for cars for my trip to FL this weekend and again in April for the Freddies and National was 2-3x more than Avis for my dates. Of course, my AWD is phenomenal in Florida so that probably helps.

And I won't touch Hertz at MC:rolleyes: thanks to their off-premises facility.

Uh huh. I've never been stuck in a lav. I've had to contort myself into unnatural positions to get in and out of one on a CR9, but I've never been stuck.

Ahh yes, but how many time have you banged your head on the ceiling during turbulence. :D

In many cases I'll walk before I call Enterprise.

It's a sickness

So we decided to paint and renovate one of our guest rooms, and in moving everything out of the room, I found some old scrapbooks. And as we were moving them... out fell a pre-printed bag tag to STX (from 1983!).

I started looking in the scrapbooks - and found boarding passes and luggage tags from a trip to the UK in 1978 and my month in the Caribbean in 1983.

I had to drop everything an put it all into flightmemory... including flights on TWA, Prinair, Allegheny, and Aeromech (a flight PIT-CAK was $35.00). :)

Of course, in the event that I ever have therapy, I'm sure this will all be discussed. ;)
