Uh huh. I've never been stuck in a lav. I've had to contort myself into unnatural positions to get in and out of one on a CR9, but I've never been stuck.

I am guessing it may be on the HNL legs, not SYD. If so, he better be sharing his secret!

So we decided to paint and renovate one of our guest rooms, and in moving everything out of the room, I found some old scrapbooks. And as we were moving them... out fell a pre-printed bag tag to STX (from 1983!).
I started looking in the scrapbooks - and found boarding passes and luggage tags from a trip to the UK in 1978 and my month in the Caribbean in 1983. I had to drop everything an put it all into flightmemory... including flights on TWA, Prinair, Allegheny, and Aeromech (a flight PIT-CAK was $35.00). :) Of course, in the event that I ever have therapy, I'm sure this will all be discussed. ;) |

I believe that is correct. I believe his HNL-SFO plane got upgraded to a 3-cabin international config.

He also mentioned a downgauge at some point too. How one would downgauge from Y- is hard to imagine. Did they paint his name on a cargo container?

Okay, I am a bit stressed over some things, so I am now putting my energy in to creative ways to get from SNA to LAS next Thursday. Sure, I could take US Scareways for $70 and finally use my BD Diamond card, but I have the luxury of time given that I arrive in SNA at 11:00 after taking the oh dark thirty arse crack of dawn flight from CLE via IAH for $110.
This should be fun, especially since my accountant is expecting low low cost! Why, do you say, am I taking this odd route? Because everyone wanted $800+ to get me to Vegas the easy way. I can travel to Macau or Monaco and gamble there for less coin! |
