Will VX have started the SNA-SFO service by then? SNA-SFO-LAS could be fun.

No, that is in April. If I can get to LAX, Alaska has a $116 fare via SEA.

The list goes on! :)

I think it's that LCY is just that convenient. I loved flying out of LCY.

Reality is kind of hard for the British to accept. I wonder what the loads are like LHR-TPA-LHR.

When the Pound was cleaning the $'s clock, I imagine loads were actually quite good. Most of South & West Florida is/was owned by either Brits or Russians.

Yes, they do. So far they're pretty much left National and Alamo alone.

Meh, I'd take two stops to have all J all the time.

I wonder if the fuel stop is worth it to the London financial district people that this targets not to trek to LHR.

Long may it be so.

That is not possible.

No - KL already has had that motto trademarked for many years now.

Without a FlightMemory, we can't really advise you properly regarding which lines would look spiffiest.

Surely they can't be as stingy as Hurtz?

They're not that bad, but they're not great. Avis will give you some free weekend rental days, but you can only use those on a weekend. National's free days are good any day of the week. And, with Executive Elite status, those free days are good on any car class I want, and I can use up to 7 free day credits on a single rental. Avis can't touch that with giving me a couple of free weekends a year, when National's willing to give me a couple of free weeks a year.

Meh. The Dutch are just slightly more polite and less efficient versions of Germans.

The Brits are further north in FL, no? As I understood it, I thought the Canadian snowbird went way down south, like Dade/Broward, and the British were known to holiday around MCO. Never heard anything about Russians.

I'd rather have a larger plane than the fuel stop.

After flying to/from LCY last summer, I would be all over this flight given the ease of transiting this airport. IIRC, the A318 does have the range but it can not take off fully loaded with fuel rom LCY. Frankly, it will be a hoot just seeing it on the tarmac given that it is usually covered with AVROs and Q4s.

The benefits of the flight? Quickly preclearing immigration at SNN westbound and the overall ease of LCY. From the time I left my seat, I was through customs and to my client's office in the financial district in 45 minutes. This in itself saves hours on the overall trip length.

There is (or was, until recently) a huge British second-home presence in South and West Florida. They were buying up property like mad there in the early part of this decade.

Speaking of...

LAX-ATL?
LAX-MSP?
LAX-DTW?
LAX-MKE?

I'm leaning towards LAX-ATL...
