Hope the random stream-of-consciousness regarding New Orleans eateries is at least somewhat useful.
We're staying at the W New Orleans (FQ was sold out). Not planning on renting a car - is that a mistake? I haven't been in ... oh... 7 years. Can't help on Montreal. I asked the Canuck and she PFFGH'ed. She isn't a fan of the Québécoise. |

ETA - If anyone could suggest good restaurants in Montreal, I'd be much obliged...
And have poutine. Your heart will hate you, but yummy. |

There is also a restaurant called Pied au Couchon that is supposed to be phenomenal, but I haven't managed to get there yet. Lots of foie gras on that menu. :D

Having been there, that place is beyond good.
I actually had it booked once but CO decided not to offer the weekend fare to YUL that week so I had to cancel. :( |
I can't believe I missed the mistake C fare to DEL. Did anyone else book it?

The discussion in the new elite status threads over the past couple days really has been entertaining. I'm truly amazed that none of the people in there have been hired to run a loyalty program or airline. After all, their ideas are so simple and brilliant it is amazing that they haven't been implemented. |

Should I go to BCN or MAD after the BRU DO? I'm leaning toward BCN (I've never been to either).
You will find great food and drinks at both places. BCN is more of a hip and trendier city with boutique hotels and trendy restaurants. and lots of stuff to see in the gothic neighborhoods. MAD is more of an older and larger elegant city . Go for BCN this time |

1 - Reservoir (9 DuLuth Est.; 514-849-7779; www.brasseriereservoir.ca) is a “chill microbrewery” with a good beer selection, 2 - Distillery (2047, Avenue Mont-Royal Est; 514-523-8166; www.pubdistillerie.com) is a “cool place with hipster appeal” where the drinks are “massive, strong and served in mason jars.” 3 - the microbrewery Brutopia (1219 Crescent Street; 514-393-9277; www.brutopia.net) |
Anyone else having CO.com issues?
I ticketed my BRU DO flights and they show up on the .com as ticketed and confirmed but I never received a receipt or a confirmation. Also, the Complimentary Elite Upgrade setting choices are missing from my IAH-EWR flight but show up for my EWR-CLE and CLE-IAH segments  |

Mother's - I would go for lunch rather than dinner as its not fancy but will not cost you a whole lot either. They are also known for their bloody mary's.

Coincidentally, in the last day or so there has been a thread started in the Delta forum complaining about the same thing. Some of the posters had not received the customary e-mail confirmations containing the ticket numbers and the price paid for the trip.
