And I was about to type "I hope it's not based on a Japanese game show." I don't know if Double Dare is based on one or not but the mess is the same.

Anyone think it may not be a game show but a "You Run the Airline" type game?

You mean Whose Line is it Anyway type of show. We play GA's during an EWR ground stop and sfogate and other CO GA's get to play the angry, irrational, drunk passenger? (queue tape of Airlines) It's the hint of getting a diverse team together that almost makes me think otherwise. But I could be wrong. (insert double space here :p)

I almost just changed my BWI-SEA runs to make it a CO fleet run trip. I had BWI-SEA-ROC-SEA-BWI priced out with flights on ER4, DH4, 733, 735, 738 and 739.

I'd really like to mix things up a bit instead of playing ping pong back and forth between BWI and SEA, but BWI is the most miles by far. They won't allow EWR routings for MSY, PBI, RSW or JAX and there are only EWR routings for ITH, ROC and BUF. :(

Using a cert and xlng.

I am search challenged but I know that one of the denizens of the BOX knows the answer. I;m looking at 3 SEA MRs. If I use one of my certs and then have to cancel does the value of the cert ($137.) go back to me in the form of another cert?

Yup.

I'm scared. I just looked at how much travel I have booked for 2009 so far. I'm up to almost 70K miles - all leisure.

I booked four of those flights today - 3x BWI-SEA and my summer holiday with Mrs. sbm12, Scandinavia.

I actually got the Scandinavia trip at standard levels for the 2 weeks straddling July 4th weekend in Y going out and WBC coming home. I really hope that DL/NW is still flying the A333 on the AMS-EWR route over the summer. I don't think I have that type yet and I want to try the (not so) new (anymore) WBC.

70K miles booked already on non-refundable tickets. That is absolutely awesome to those of us who almost never book revenue tickets more than 10 days to two weeks out and frequently have a much shorter time frame than that.

How do you know that you can schedule your life to accommodate all that long range planning?

Please no. I've sat through enough of those at leadership and management conferences. Worse yet was being a life line for Who Wants to be a Member-aire version for 3 years in a row trying to look like I really cared. (unlike those in the audience who didn’t have to pretend and just drooled)

Besides Jeapardy doesn't use teams.

Fiancee and I are taking the choo-choo thing to BWI from 30th Street. Shorter than driving and there's a PHL departure time that pairs nicely to our 3:15pm flight.

Long term parking at BWI is reasonable. Tolls aren't too bad. Probably cheaper to drive than take the train. I did a MR to SAN last year out of BWI. BWI-IAH-SAN-EWR-BWI. Pushed me to silver for next year.^

I don't. That's part of the fun. Almost all of it is long weekend trips, with the exception of the Scandinavia one, which is two weeks. I work for myself as an independent consultant and I have a reasonably small number of clients, so I can generally juggle things and make it work out. And I bring my laptop with me so I can take a time out from vacation if I need to work. About 95% of what I do can be done from anywhere I have internet connectivity, which helps. I did server maintenance in NYC from HKG and HNL earlier this year, over brunch and pool-side, respectively.

Plus, I haven't really sunk too much money into any one of the individual trips so if I have to bail on one I'm not out too much money. Other than the BRU Do fare I don't think any of the others was more than $400. And at least one of those is for two people. ;)

I use to get grief at work for the $17 round trip tolls and that was going up I-95 in PA and crossing the Delaware at a "free" bridge (they call them toll supported bridges )
