Is the back full? Sometimes blocked seats up front = overbooked in the back.

Chilling at my sisters for a bit. I'll be home before 11 PM because I don't want to deal with the 10 or so cops I'd pass on my 5 mile journey home. Then watch the tourist in Times Square on TV and think they are a nuts because it is so cold and so windy on top of it.

Yeah, the back is full.

If so, that's great news if they won't be selling more seats up front as it appears all the Plats have been upgraded.

Of course, the 19 plus 5 blocked seats as of yesterday simply turned into "Booked Full" today with 7 unassigned F seats, so who knows.

Yeah...BRU helps a bit. But so does just generally being crazy. I actually looked at your map and was wondering where in Canada you were going before realizing that it was just MSP.

My 69,472 miles currently booked includes 3x TATL, 1x South America and 2x Central America. And three trips to SEA.

Still need to add in Freddies in FLL and Spring Training in TPA.

And likely snowing on them tonight, I believe.

We're going for dinner at Morimoto and then out to Brooklyn for a party.

Also: Movie Review....The MUST SEE movie is Slum Dog Millionaire. It is one of the top 5 pictures I have ever seen.

Pass on The Day the Earth Stood Still and rent the original. Original much much better.

18 year old son refuses to watch the original as he says "Its black and white and lousy special effects, why should I see it"? My reply, acting, directing, story, etc etc etc....

Ive heard Slum Dog is good - thanks for the +1

Drinks at the MBM3's and the late sitting at Fahrenheit. Chef's Table. :)

I would like to see the new one but your review makes me wonder if I should just want to rent it. If you have not seen the original is the new one worth spending the money to see in the theator, just for the special effects?

I personally did not think it worth it. If you can get a cheap matinee, maybe but I thought the story, which was not as good as the original, and the acting was flat. I really usually like Kathy Bates a lot but she was awful. I know Keanu Reeves was supposed to be unemotional, but so was Michael Rennie in the original and he did it much better.

Thanks for the review. Since I love movie popcorn and there is no such thing as a cheap matinee, I'll just rent this movie when it goes to DVD and watch it at home.

This year we're at home, and headed to the apartment of a couple we're friends with for their party. Last year we traveled, but this year we're saving money and staying close to home.

Mmmmm! We often do the chef's counter at Blue Canyon - which we love.

Enjoy!

I am not really doing much tonight, should be doing more.

I've always thought NYE celebrations were overrated. This year will be fairly quiet for us. My fiancee has to work early tomorrow morning, so we'll probably go out for some dinner and then stay in and watch a movie.

Last year, thanks to a delayed flight, we celebrated NYE in front of the NW baggage claim at EWR.

Hartmann Dec 31, 2008 2:09 pm

We're going to a friend's house for NYE. We'll hang out and head home... We are not big party people and I barely stay awake past 11:30.

It really depends on the DVDs. You can use HandBrake to rip the DVDs to your computer and I think it will even do iPod versions.

I had a small problem with Handbrake being able to rip a couple of DVDs I have due to the copy protection, but in their FAQ's they recommended DVD Shrink. That worked for me and then I used Handbrake to convert it to a the format for my iTouch.
