Hello from winter wonderland. CLE got about a foot of snow overnight, which was a joy at 1AM trying to get to our car after the Cavs game and late dinner.

I just drove by EWR and experienced by normal out of airportitis which was yesterdays topic.

In central NJ it wasn't bad, but over by the airport we aren't too far from white-out conditions. Should be a fun day at EWR, i'm happy i flew in yesterday and not today.

Does anyone know if B&H cleans SLR's and if so how much and is it while you wait?

Dirty sensor? Have you tried cleaning it yourself?

I got bent over by USCIS in Canada today. You know what, I am no longer traveling to Canada. I can not stand crossing the Canadian border.

yeah, the sensor looks to be dusty. I am not sure ecactly how to clean it myself, I am not that advanced yet with my camera.

There should be a manual cleaning mode, which will flip up the mirror. Don't use "Bulb" mode. Then, while pointing camera down, use a good air blower a few times. That should take out dust that's just laying on the sensor. Don't use canned compressed air, just use a manual bulb type.

You can tell for sure if it's sensor dust by taking a few shots of the blue sky with the smallest aperture of your lens. You'll see the same very sharp dust spot in every picture.
