You're welcome! Have you reserved your spot yet?????

Memo to all those concerned: should you ever find yourself in Walgreens after having purchased the wrong item, heretofore be advised that you fall under "Code 3." I thought I bought two bottles each of shampoo and conditioner, and upon opening the bag several days later I see that it's four shampoos. OK, fine, exchange. The pubescent humanoid that was more concerned with flashing the bling of his high school ring and counting his 12-hair mustache had to page the store manager to do a retu...er, Code 3.

Yes. :D Oh if you need an extra FA I'd consider doing that too.

In a random turn of events - I just came into possession of a case of orange juice that had been seized by the police.

Ahh, Friday nights. How you never seem to disappoint me.

Yes, its drinkable. Apparently a delivery truck driver had a suspended license and so they towed the truck. The distributor never claimed it and there's a 24 hr rule on perishables.

So, it was free to whoever wanted it.

My father works for the Turnpike, and he once came home with case upon case of chicken that met the same fate. Truck accident, but sealed cases and everything.

Minor brush fire in SW Houston today. I smell like burned brush... soot, or whatever you want to call it. Yuck.

ConciergeMike Jan 9, 2009 8:11 pm

Burned hair is worse. I played with aerosol cans once, and the smell of getting singed by an exploding can doesn't leave the memory bank pretty much ever.

Burned flesh is horrible. For a while I associated diesel with the smell of burning flesh and walking by an idling bus (or ambulance) would turn my stomach.

Edited to add: I've got my exit all planned out. It involves a McFlurry machine and a DVD of overseas risque commercials.
