Looking back now, we should have planed a NYC BRU crawl for those of us left behind. :(

I'm trying to be slightly productive, but it's not easy. At least work stuff is pretty much wrapped up now.

I am sooooo happy that my boss had me on call all week and refused my vacation request.

I should have rolled the dice and "worked" from the EU....he did not even contact me until 10 minutes ago and wished me a nice weekend.

Not too late for that. Except I don't really want to do too much "crawling", more like pick a bar and stay put. It's kinda chilly this weekend. They just cancelled my outdoor soccer game for tonight (apparently the ground is frozen or they just don't want the lawsuit when a frozen ball takes someone's head off.) Luckily the team is dedicated enough to still head out and practice the post-game activities...gotta keep those livers in shape! We'll be at Westside Tavern if anyone is interested in joining.

No kidding about chill. It all depends on when for me. I have stuff tomorrow from 8:30 AM to about 3:30 PM at Rutgers.

My three day weekend is going to consist of taking my son to the orthopod to see if his meniscus (knee) is torn and then going to work on Sunday.

Weather currently in SFO is a nice 70, which it's been all week.

After finally meeting everyone at the Do, I'm thinking about pitching the idea of a SAN Mini-Do wherein we tour the eight different breweries in this area, almost all of which offer free samples and/or a restaurant.

Howdy Box! Long time no post. I fell off the wagon last year but I'm back with a renewed determination to spend as many workday hours on FT as I can get away with. ;) I've been lurking periodically but have lots of catching up to do. Knew to come straight to FT for info yesterday when people started telling me "a USAIR Regional Jet A380 crashed in the Hudson"

Speaking of, since all are safe and sound we can laugh about it a bit.

Nice to hear you refreshed. Welcome back!

Ahhhhh, home sweet home. It's always a pleasant sound when your car actually turns over in this weather so you can go home. I was entertaining myself trying to defrost my frozen solid bottle of water of water driving home.

The KL Crown Lounge Wench at IAH refused me admission. Apparently, after the mid-afternoon 74M departs, the lounge "closes" for 30 minutes, then reopens only for biz pax on the PrivatAir flight. It magically ceases to be a KL Crown Lounge that has to admit Skteam ElitePlus Passengers on international itineraries.

For my next trip to AMS on CO in April, I will come armed with a one-way refundable J ticket on the PrivatAir flight. :D

I'm amazed you didn't go and buy one.
