Looks like circuit city is officially on it's way to the pasture.

If DL is the operating carrier of the first flight, check in with them.

"You're on a very special fare".

Everytime I asked for anything during the $275 EWR-FCO run last year, that's what I heard.

Really left a bad taste in my mouth and I refuse to fly frenchy air since.

I don't mind AF for Intra-Europe stuff, but haven't flown them long-haul for quite some time.

Yep. I'm sure there will be renewed push in another thread in this forum to get missing OnePass miles from CircuitCity.com posted ASAP, along with all the moaning and complaining that comes with that particular thread.

Looks like we're going to be cxl our tix for the weekend. BL JR is sick; Step BL (who we're going to see) is also sick. Taking a coughing kid on a plane just doesn't seem like a bright idea despite the thought of $450 in change fees. That and we'd be sitting in a hotel room for three days which also doesn't seem like a bright idea. Sooo.... methinks it better to bail and let each kid be sick in their own home. We were all EUAd both ways too!!! What a waste of a three day weekend. Oh well.

I've had about five such requests this week, including one this evening from a guy who was a total bully to me in elementary school, and I doubt I've spoken to him at all since 1984. And now he wants to be my "friend" on that site?

People change. I am "friends" with a couple people that I wasn't too close with in school. It was nice to catch up with them. I even went out to dinner w/ one up in NYC when I was living in PHL.

With the exception of a external drive, I can't think of much that I'd want from a Circuit City going out of business sale. I feel like I have all the toys and gadgets that I want.

I'm guessing there was a connection in CDG.

I might use this opportunity to upgrade my TV and get a new PC. Too bad CC isn't an Apple retailer.

Something like that would be too hot for them to cut in price so I'd doubt you'd find a good deal on it knowing how liquadators work. My sister has been eyeing my TV at CC which is a 2007 -08 model. This past Dec. it was only $200 less than what I paid for it at CC in November 07. She's hoping they really want to get rid of them now.

I have a DL PNR that goes with my CO PNR so I'm thinking that I need to check in with DL to check my bag and so forth, but I am concerned that if I don't do anything with CO they will have me as a no-show and cancel my return from the DO. This would be, as with anything that actually requires one to stay in Houston, not so good.

Always check in the with carrier whose paint is on the plane.

True, its always nice to see how people ended up.

Come to think of it ssullivan, I added you as a friend a couple months ago but I guess you decided we could only be FT friends and not FB friends.

Yes, and a rather insane connection.

On the way back, the inbound was a bit delayed and they had to bus about 40-50 of us from plane to plane.
