Looks like we're going to be cxl our tix for the weekend. BL JR is sick; Step BL (who we're going to see) is also sick. Taking a coughing kid on a plane just doesn't seem like a bright idea despite the thought of $450 in change fees. That and we'd be sitting in a hotel room for three days which also doesn't seem like a bright idea. Sooo.... methinks it better to bail and let each kid be sick in their own home. We were all EUAd both ways too!!! What a waste of a three day weekend. Oh well.

Good start for my Flightmemory for 2009. New airline, B6, and new airport, BUR, next week for a little trip to Vegas. Yeah!

Why do people I knew as a kid or teenager who never showed the least bit interested in being a friend of mine suddenly now want to add me to their Facebook friends list? I've had about five such requests this week, including one this evening from a guy who was a total bully to me in elementary school, and I doubt I've spoken to him at all since 1984. And now he wants to be my "friend" on that site?

With the exception of a external drive, I can't think of much that I'd want from a Circuit City going out of business sale. I feel like I have all the toys and gadgets that I want.

Here's my dumb question for the day: If I'm flying on a CO award that is utilizing DL metal, who do I check in with? CO or DL? I have a DL PNR that goes with my CO PNR so I'm thinking that I need to check in with DL to check my bag and so forth, but I am concerned that if I don't do anything with CO they will have me as a no-show and cancel my return from the DO. This would be, as with anything that actually requires one to stay in Houston, not so good.

I think some of it is just curiosity about where those of us who left and never went back ended up.
Come to think of it ssullivan, I added you as a friend a couple months ago but I guess you decided we could only be FT friends and not FB friends. |

I'm guessing there was a connection in CDG.
On the way back, the inbound was a bit delayed and they had to bus about 40-50 of us from plane to plane. |
