If I was alone, I gladly would. Got both female types with me, and on top of that we have to be at The Rock extra early for the broadcast booth visit.

Bring 'em both...beer is good for everyone. :p We'll get you back out to the Rock in plenty of time for your visit.

Mobile posting sucks...I just put a very well thought out post in the wrong thread.

Oh, it's waffle time, it's waffle time!
Won't you have some waffles of mine?

Mornin' Box.

During the summer they run a domestic 763 to SAN as well, it's always an interesting sight to find it sitting down at the end. That is one of the very few passenger wide body services that SAN offers. The only other regular widebody I can think of is HA's service to HNL.

Would someone please explain to me again why PC clubs make their coffee so weak? Don't they get that sleep-deprived people coming off the redeyes need proper ways to stop the shakes? The medical emergency enroute EZE-IAH one row up from me didn't help with sound sleep, either (the old lady's ok, btw. Walked off the plane by herself.) And is it just me, or is IAH-EZE slowly starting to rival your typical EWR-Fl:rolleyes:rida run for the Bluehair-Express title?

On the positive side, it's sunny, I didn't have to wait 20mins for hot water to start flowing in the PC shower, I'm at the top of the list with 8/16 booked IAH-BOS :)

P Club coffee tastes like burnt paper, and sometimes dishwater.

I would be concerned about that if in the past month I hadn't purchased 4 tires, a dishwasher, a front window for my car, a new phone and a ticket to DFW that cost more than J Edwards flight to SYD ;) Also, I did buy a case of wine and champagne this week so I helped the liquor companies. Just my part in bettering the economy :)

CO flies a 752 on IAH-MSY from time to time.

Mackie, ever go to the Cheese Shop for breakfast in SAN?

They have really untraditional (but great) biscuits and gravy, but I'm craving them right now for some reason. Errr, maybe I'm just craving being in SAN and out of this snow.:mad::mad::rolleyes::mad:

I saw them both in the PClub. George was all smiles and nice and yes, his bodyguard looked like he could hurt someone fast!

I have not been to the Cheese Shop, but it does sound good. I'm up in mid-county area, about 18 miles or so from downtown, so I don't get down there that often, unless I'm going to the airport.

Also, who doesn't crave SAN itself? Of course, that doesn't explain why I'm desperately trying to get out of here. :(

I think the Canuck is finally lowering her resistance to my daily pleas to move to SAN. Today she finally said "... yeah, it would be nice."

I don't know if this is just her attempt to screw with my head or what. Maybe she knows she has my by the balls now that I'm "pot committed" to this area for at least 5 - 10 years 'cause of the house.

There's definitely a burned taste....can't say I've ever tasted dishwater. But to be fair, I like my coffee acidic and I can't stand weak coffee, which I'm fond of referring to as "coffee-flavored water".

I've seen it in the schedule, and I understand that more because I know CO better than I do DL. That short hop is probably just enough to fill out the aircraft's day, not unlike the 752's that do a Florida run in between Europe hops. Maybe DL uses the same logic, but given the ridiculously high fares and their desire to serve every last dirt strip on the planet and have high fares across the system to justify underperforming city pairs (IMO, anyway) I can't see DL's decision making being that logical.
