At times, i've seen 764s scheduled for ATL-FLL/MCO as well. Florida, to Delta, is a glorified shuttle market.

During the summer they run a domestic 763 to SAN as well, it's always an interesting sight to find it sitting down at the end. That is one of the very few passenger wide body services that SAN offers. The only other regular widebody I can think of is HA's service to HNL.

I have not been to the Cheese Shop, but it does sound good. I'm up in mid-county area, about 18 miles or so from downtown, so I don't get down there that often, unless I'm going to the airport.
Ok, i'm off to to drive again. This is getting old, i'm now remembering why I prefer to fly. :) And I hope today isn't as crazy as yesterday, there was a lot of catching up to do last night. |

Me too. Plus1 is 10-6 OUCH! He's only 1 better than BL JR who picked teams purely on their geographic location. Only one person in our pool had 15/16; there are a bunch at 14/16.

But, it's NY.'ville. The key difference between SAN and NYC metro area, even if the cost of living is 1:1, is that SAN is actually an enjoyable place to live (save for the traffic). |

Don't beat yourself up too much. Buying a house here is still an extremely difficult endeavor unless you walk in with, seriously, $50,000 as a down payment. That's part of why I'm trying to get out of here; my wife and I make a decent living as a combined salary, but the cost of living is so high that we're unable to save for a down payment.

Only $50K??? Try NYC. I paid more than that down for my place 6 years ago, though the property value appreciation has made it appear to have been a wise investment.

Winner, winner, prix fixe dinners. Restaurant week in my area starts on Sunday.

Your neighborhood became the hot new thing too, or at least that's how it looked to me. All you need is a new NYC neighborhood acronym (DUMBO? I rest my case.) and you'll really see the prices shoot up.
What I really enjoy is when they try to invent new names for areas. There is an ongoing effort to figure out what they should call the area around the South Street Seaport as it redevelops into a residential zone. Some of those are just ridiculous. |
Morning Box.
