La is the only state opperating under the napolionic code. It makes practicing law there difficult

Hello all,

I've been lurking here for a little while but haven't taken the plunge into posting . . .

However, since I'm currently sitting here in the B84 basement of IAH, at the 3.5-hour mark of a layover (between PHL and BTR) that was supposed to last 2 hours and is now looking like 4.5 and counting, it seemed like as good a time as any.

I never associated white-out fog with TEXAS, of all places!

Hope there's room for one more in here. :)

Welcome to the box!

Further UA nonsense:

Meant to post this earlier -- one of my SYD-SFO flights got in late and I missconnected to my HNL leg. Went to the RCC to ask for a $7 food voucher (wanted a cup of soup) and they said no but urged me to call the 1k desk.

Call the 1k desk, told me I needed to do it at the airport but as a goodwill gesture they sent me a $350 ecert.

A $350 voucher and all I wanted was $7 for a cup of soup.

Not sure if I should hate or love UA.

I am going have to start flying UA when we hitch up with them

I thought you just passed the test and are in? Catch me if you can....

Looks like Miss State is going to let me down, UW really pulling away.

If you take the bar in Louisiana and did not study Napolionic law, you basically have to self-study an entirely different legal system. Six or seven of the nine subjects tested are Louisiana-specific.

Napolionic law

I hear it's a short test though.

So, I got home this evening and the Canuck is all excited that she filled out a bracket for her work pool. I take a look at it and something is lining up. I'm staring at it for about 5 minutes before I realize she has SYR beating UNC yet somehow UNC winning it all.

Whiskey. Tango.

The best part of this bracket is the header: Special Ed Pool. That's more accurate than anyone realizes.

Hello Box
This is the first time I don't have bracket in years
I have not checked a single score
It is so much less stressful

And being in Argentina has nothing to do with that, of course.

Well that helps , but if I was down here with my usual pools filled out , I would have been going crazy trying to find out scores .
