Having people constantly asking for upgrades does get old but GAs are the face of CO, along with flight crews so chewing out a pax over upgrades is not right. I won't report the GA because it could have just been an off day.

Other than that the flight and crew were great.

The GAs can do just about anything short of stealing cash from the company. Yeah we do have the POWER (:D) and it wouldn't have been so wrong to upgrade the Silver so that he could enjoy the flight with his mom. I actually feel sorry for the Silver Elites since they rarely get any upgrades that I bend over backwards for them.

To write a letter or not, that's your choice. Bad day or not, the GA should not have been rude.

Me, too, though being in NYC the opportunity doesn't come up that often. I needed JAX-MSY in 2003 (I think) and they were a perfect option - fast and cheap. No way I was going to deal with US or DL and connecting for that flight.

Welcome! Good luck keeping up, but don't worry if you don't/can't. Most of it is stream of consciousness anyways and is either rehashed or repeated in equally good entertainment later.
