I have a high frustration level at AT&T Wireless. I had called store #1 asking if they had the HTC Fuze in stock; they said they had one and were holding it back. I went to said store and they thought I said "View", which is LG, but whatever. They then called store #2 who said they had three in stock so I went there. I walked into store #2 (a company store, btw) and said the other AT&T had called regarding the Fuze. He asked me who they had talked with and I said I didn't know; the only salesperson helping a customer raised her hand. The guy I was talking to said I would have to wait to work with her and she would be right with me. Um, okay. He then asked if I wanted to look at the phone or accessories and I said no, I just need to pay for my phone. He reiterated that she would be right with me.
I proceeded to watch the other two salespeople stand around and do nothing (sorry, not true, the one saleswoman did some texting). After 15 mins. I was done and said "This is ridiculous. You two are standing around doing nothing when all I need to do is pay for my phone." I then walked out. I understand commission but since all the lady did was answer the phone and advise it was in stock, I'm thinking she could have figured a way to split the commission with bozo #2 for ringing it up for me. As it stood, they all made a big fat zero. I came home and ordered online, which is what I should have done in the first place, but I had wanted the phone today. I've sent in a complaint to AT&T and I worked on some deep breathing when I was done. |

I think you're safe! I spent some time with a therapy dog this afternoon (after the AT&T debacle, I needed therapy ;)) and what a sweetie he was. Unfortunately for him, BL JR and her friend wore him out. I didn't realize all the training they had to go through to become a therapy dog; he was just amazing. |

The coverage in my house is fine. Yes, I get some dropped calls on the grand parkway and the West Park, but other than that, it's been okay other than the fact I replace a phone on average every year (I made it 13 months this time) not including the replacement phones under warranty. Just like laptops, I'm hard on phones. This is my first Chuck E Cheese accident though;). The good news is I've been able to try basically every phone that exists. The bad news is, I could use that money for important things . . . like shoes. |

A therapy dog? Did the dog ask you about your inner child? |
Villanova just put up an insane run to get back into the lead against American U. I hope they hold on so as to not bust my bracket.

We are hosed. Thanks to the drunk chick - we missed out flight to MXP. The coils not re-route us to get there at a reasonable time, so we have abandoned MXP and will stay in NYC for the weekend. Now at baggage claim - EWR. What a nightmare. They said it could be 3 hrs to get the bags... I'm hoping to somehow salvage the trip in some way. John Unhappy at baggage claim... Can't they route you to LHR, BCN, CDG or anyplace in Europe and put you on another carrier to Italy? |

Speaking of all things margarita, the fiancee had a 27-ouncer at about 7:10 this evening. She's asleep as I type.

Nice. Never heard of the concept.

I just need to ensure my nursing home will earn me points of some kind - even if it's for BL JR. Marriott has nursing homes/assisted living; I need to find out the point structure on those because I think if they time comes, that would be a good a good place for mom and dad. |

After talking to 4 different agents - we gave up. Best they could do would put us there mid-afternoon, so we lose a day. Since we were only going for two days... It wasn't worth it. So the Westin Times Square it is... |
