Gorgeous day in Houston. The marathon was run and now the temperatures are in the low 70s with nary a cloud in the sky. And of course, I have to work. :( Oh well, I shouldn't complain, I have a job in this economy. I will complain about not flying much anymore.:td:

Yeah, watching them go by while at my church job thismorning, I was really getting the itch to start running again...

I can honestly say that I have never, ever felt that desire.

Me neither. Elliptical, treadmill, bike, all good. Actual real running, never again. I did way more than enough when I got myself in shape to get thru Basic Training.

I love it. :D

The USAir pilot, Capt. "Sully" arrived home in SFO yesterday (Saturday) on Delta. He was quietly deplaned ramp side and united with his family.

I've added my flights from this weekend to the Box FM. I'm too lazy to reconcile fleet number to N-number for the CO flights. Sorry.

This Regus lounge in BRU is nice enough. Free internet, which is really what I needed, though no booze or food. I think I'll have to venture out shortly to get some food and make my way to the gate to wait out the next 3 hours of the delay. :(

Why not just wait it out in the lounge?

Got my bb working, by the way. Had to call Vz tech support in the US, though. Good luck getting back to EWR.

Because I want food. And the lounge I'm in is land-side and I'll need to clear through to the terminal at some point.

And it is only ~2:45 from now, so it won't be too miserable, I don't think.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8830/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

Finally on board N66057 getting ready to go. Apparently in the midst of the deicing delays yesterday there was also a MX issue that contributed to the issues. And I think we are waiting on a special meal based on an overheard conversation from the galley. They've had an extra 6 hours so I can understand how it would be delayed getting to the plane.

On the plus side, plenty of room to spread out; something like 100 empty seats in Y.

Today's snoozepapers report that he and his family are now headed to the inauguration. The crew members (and I presume their families) were given tickets.
