While not MR worthy, I just found a PHL-SNA R fare for $815 AI. A lot cheaper then EWR-LAX.

There have been some decent R fares out there recently. Last week CO was running ATL-MSY via IAH only roundtrip as a non-refundable R for about $450 and as a refundable R for about $600.

I grabbed an elusive R fare for my EWR-LAX yesterday sometime last week. Then when I went to book another one, no more R fares on transcons. :(

I didn't think that there was a published R fare for EWR-LAX. There wasn't last time I looked and there isn't right now

You are right There is no EWR-LAX R , but NYC-LAX shows an R1 fare ( I don't know if it would be valid from EWR)
Sadly, I didn't check at the time if there was a published R fare or not, it just happened to show up when I went to ticket the reservation and naturally, I picked it over H. :) I have no idea how I did it, now i'm curious and trying to recreate it. Hmm |
I had a beer last night called Creme Brulee Stout. It actually tasted just like the dessert. Very strange sensation to be drinking dessert in that way.
