I have seen it, but nothing larger than a 737.

I remember being in a 752 that landed on 11 a few years back. It was fun!

A couple years ago I was working on a project that had me out in LAS with an unhealthy frequency. On my 4th or 5th trip out there, just as the  was setting in, I happened to be staying at THEhotel during the AVN awards, which were happening at the Man Bay. THEhotel aka THE:rolleyes: happened to be where all the :-:'s where staying.

Ha. Nope. The New Zealand contingency was staying down the street I believe.

So, where are all the NorthWelta defectors? I imagine we'll be seeing quite a few coming our way in the next few weeks, as it fully sinks in that their airline has tossed them under the bus. January is an excellent time for telling naughty airlines to stick it.

Im now looking at people boarding a Southwest flight, what a nightmare
When did they add the "Pole System"

The new WN boarding system started in late November/early December 2007.

Yep, it's a far better system than the old one. No more pressure to hang out at the gate two hours before your flight to be at the start of the boarding line so that you can get a decent seat. There's no need to line up or anything until boarding starts. I've done it about a dozen times now and it generally works pretty well.

I think many of them have come to the realization that based on where they live it pretty much means they need to stick it out with them for the most convenient service.

Yep. I've landed on 29 in a 777.

Lots of US folk felt that way, as well. If DL keeps it up, I'm pretty sure there will be some significant attrition

Have any of you guys spent any time on hold with CO today? The music they're playing for the rewards desk (non-elite) is making me want to cut myself.

I was on hold with them this morning for about 2 minutes and can't even remember what the music was.
