Since it almost impossible to be OT here, what were the Devils' concerns regarding a camera? Some lame copyright issues couched behind some even lamer faux security matter?

Or are they afraid of photos showing all those empty seats <g>?

I heard Prudential Center. I miss Boston.

I heard Lou [Malnati]

I miss Chicago. :(

Basically. Some of the security goons were less than nice because they thought I was a pro that would sell my images.

I gave up. Called their internet (it's on computers now!) support and spoke to someone who, I swear, told me her name was Chinchilla.

I give it a 1:10 chance my OP number shows up on my DL BP.

The most amusing part of the phone call was her trying to upsell me on a hotel for my reservation. Me, feeling mildly abusive to the retarded, said "hey, great, help a brother out." She then proceeded to rattle off a few hotel recommendations and I asked her for the price of one.

She diligently typed away and said she couldn't get the price to load for the travel dates. So I suggested an alternate hotel. Type type type, same problem.

I suggested she call her internet support desk.

(The trip is up and back same day)

You sir, are quickly becoming my hero. That's classic.

That's spectacular! Robot script-readers don't even bother to notice what's in front of them. How far society falls down the slippery slope.

He's already there in my book....I couldn't be nearly that sharp.

So I found out that the consulting job I'm interested in Mon-Fri travel with occasional weekends 48 weeks a year. I'm guessing that heavy of a travel schedule is somewhat normal given that it's hotel consulting.

That's a lot of travel. I'm looking at a position that ups my travel a little from three or four times a year to once or twice a month and I had to check with my fiance to make sure she was ok with me being gone more often. It sounds like you'd be gone all the time.

Sounds like my schedule, minus the weekends. Although, depending on where I'm working, I can get home on Thursday nights some weeks.

I hate summer tourists in the Presidents Club. I walked over to get some crackers in the IAH E club a few minutes ago and a guy and his kid are tossing a football back and forth in the Presidents Club, by the snack area. The kid misses the ball and it hits me in the arm. Glad I had already put my drink down on my table in the bar. Did they stop? No. They're still throwing it.

 I'm not one to rat on people (especially strangers), but I'd definitely make this known to an agent. I can't imagine any the agents would consider throwing a football an activity acceptable in the PClub.

I was going to but they just got up to go to their flight.

I would have pointed to the family room and said that it's the only appropriate place for it (and honestly, it's not even in there). Unbelievable! What is wrong with people?

Never thought I would be excited over a flight to JAN. Tonight's IAH-JAN will put me just over 600,000 LFMs.
