Portions of the post that previously appeared in this space have been deleted. I would provide you with a reason why, but doing so would likely be against the TOS.

Sorry to hear. I played that game about 5 years ago and it definitely sucks.

It's been a few years since I've eaten there, but the barbecue place at AUS was pretty good too.

Sorry to hear that. I could be mistaken, but didn't you just graduate from law school?

Which state(s) are you licensed in?

It will be a few months, but it will be GA

MR BL called me on his way to work and was all excited because he won free Beer Friday - a case of Bud. He doesn't drink Bud. He doesn't like Bud. But he'd never won anything and was excited - lol! Our nanny, however, drinks Bud and will be the proud winner of a case of Bud - I guess that's her bonus this week ;)

I am still waitlisted IAH-EWR for Mon so will hope Plan B works out for me. The res agent was trying to placate me saying how lucky I was that I had BF for the long leg. IAH-EWR is pretty long to me

Happy Friday all!

BBQ weekend in the Carplair. Making my world famous beans tonight, 2 butts going on tomorrow morning. And as an added treat, my special banana pudding, complete with two secret, non-traditional ingredients.

I just spent 22 minutes on the phone with the GM of the Devils. I got nothing out of it as far as inconvenience, but I did get to hear the NHL's side of cameras in the crowd. I didn't agree with him, but I did see his point.

I'll be making my movie debut in next year's "The Greatest" assuming they don't cut me out (which will most likely happen).

Shooting Aug. 15.

These pretzels are making me thirsty.

Bliss, prepare to be very underwhelmed by the LAX PC. It's one of the more ragged clubs in the system (needs a remodel almost as bad as HNL and IAH Terminal B).

I'd been there once. It was a couple of years ago flying LAX-HNL (hence access). I thought the lounge was OK. However, I was slightly disappointed with the food options. They only served a couple of morning breads and had coffee in a pot served in paper cups. I don't know if that's the norm of the type of food they typically serve there, but wasn't better than RCC....do they serve actual food at other times like DL CRC?

I'm looking forward to the IAH PC. I heard it's very nice. Well, if baglady is around to guest me in :D Btw baglady...9/8 and 9/22 :)

As long as I'm not in Asia those days, consider me there to guest you in. And I happen to like the LAX Pclub, but it's because of the people working there :)

PCs are not known for their food selection. Breakfast = Bagels & Philly, and maybe mini-muffins. "Lunch" = Saltines, Tater Chips. That's it.

If you go to an IAH Club (after the obligatory trip to Terminal E's flagship lounge), head out to the C South Club, and let Charlie make you a Caipirinha or Whisky Sour. He's one of the best barkeeps you will run across, anywhere...

A movie appearance and a book character...the Box is slowly taking over media.

Don't forget the cheese! I am always surrounded by piles of empty cheese wrappers during an afternoon or evening visit to the PClub. :D

EDIT: Just to clarify, while I do love the cheese in the PClubs, I am still not a fan of the cheese soup. ;)

If you knew what I did for a living (besides FT) you'd realize that statement is more accurate than you realize. :o

ALCO, don't forget the PClub apples. Or is that a EWR thing?
