I got a 3.5hr EWR-LIT flight in an ExpressJet ERJ next week. With no meal service. 12A, but still.. Why do I do this to myself!?

Oh, it's not the money at all. It's just the fact that I will be attending a FT DO without earning any miles or points. I know, I'm crazy! :D

I forgot that rental companies in NJ require that you give up a kidney for a 1 day rental, so I will probably end up in my own car without earning any miles. :(

Fellowship, golf and beer come a close second to miles and points, sir. :D

Why are you going to LIT in the first place, is a better question.

Good question. But seems to be the place to be lately. My 3rd or 4th time visiting customers there this year. It's actually a sorta wannabe-hip-ish place. Even saw a real live off-the-boat Irish waiter at a pub there last week. Accent and all. Who-da guessed...

We have them in ACY, at the chain bars.

Bidding is at 150,000 miles

I hope this is not a reflection of the true value of OP miles :(

Oh, we probably got more of them here in Boston than Galway... The amusing part to me wasn't actually seeing one, but seeing one in Little Rock.

Yeah, pretty much where I was going...I find it amazing that they end up here with NYC and Boston as much better (stereotypically, anyway) choices.

In other news, a hotel guest just accused me of steering him to a restaurant that compensates per referral. The place he was asking for is inconsistent and not worthy of its check average, and I tried to say that in not exactly those words...in response I get: "So your piece of the action isn't big enough there?":mad::mad::mad: I was looking forward to golf, but after that a$$hat, thank Joe Pesci it's Friday.

Indeed, hence why I added the "tee hee" - my week has an hour and 23 minutes left.

Can anyone suggest a good seat on the Q200? I'm working on an ABE-CLE-IAH-SEA-CLE-ABE routing to visit Vancouver next month.
