Sorry to hear it. Between the TravelClub and MMer Status, CO has done an excellent job getting me to stick with them lately (except for my occasional torrid affairs with BD).

Yeah, it sucks indeed because I would be trying to credit 4 tickets, so they are still coming out ahead, because those 4 trips (between past travel and booked but unflown) are all of my revenue flying for the rest of the year. $20 to me vs. a $25 fee. Grrrr.

I wish there was a way I could get Travel Club credits for all my work travel. Well I guess technically there is — it's called not booking with our travel agent and not getting reimbursed for my work flights.

I've found the Travel Club quite profitable for my personal travel. But it would be worth a lot more if I could use Continental.com for all my flights. I'd probably be 25,000 miles closer to Million Miler status too.

I think Thursday was one of those odd days as well. My Sunday flight has now posted but Thursday's outbound is no where to be found at the moment.

At least you got an ERJ on that route. You could have been stuck in a CRJ window seat.

I'm missing miles from Wed and Thu. Last Monday's and Sunday's posted fine. I don't remember having problems with my CO miles credited properly in a couple of years now..

I was just bitten by a ginormous Wolf Spider. It sucked. Thankfully, they aren't especially venomous - just freaky looking.

How did you not see that coming ALCO? I recall waking up one morning in my tent at Scout Camp with a Wolf Spider on the tent fabric above my head.... not a fun sight first thing in the morning.

I was reaching into a cylinder recessed into the ground to work with some sprinkler components. It did provide my brain a wake-up call, namely:

"You moron, this is Texas. This time, it was just a wolf spider. It could have been a brown recluse, black widow, copperhead, coral snake, or water moccasin. Be more careful next time, dingus."

I just looked up Alpine on Google Maps. That place is just a tad remote. :D

No joke, I had to pull it up myself. I drove through that part a few months ago and, really, there is nothing there. I can't imagine having to go to school out there. Poor kids.

I remember a noticeable earthquake in Cleveland from 1986 or 1987 -- it occurred during my lunch hour and the school cafeteria shook. Is that the same one? It's my only earthquake experience too.
