I hate summer tourists in the Presidents Club. I walked over to get some crackers in the IAH E club a few minutes ago and a guy and his kid are tossing a football back and forth in the Presidents Club, by the snack area. The kid misses the ball and it hits me in the arm. Glad I had already put my drink down on my table in the bar. Did they stop? No. They're still throwing it.
Then again... I seem to always end up behind the elite flyer in line who had no idea he had to take the laptop out of the bag.... |

Never thought I would be excited over a flight to JAN. Tonight's IAH-JAN will put me just over 600,000 LFMs.
My one trip to JAN was quite memorable. It involved a Brasilia, back when that was the only plane CO flew there, a nearly two-hour westbound flight home, the ghetto cinderblock terminal at JAN (which is next to a prison and a trailer park), and a Hampton Inn stay that got me quoted in the Wall Street Journal a year later. |

In other news, Routing Rules are back!
Note, once you find a fare you like there, click on the "+ More" button to the right of the fare listing, then select "Fare Routing." So far, this page only lists Coach fares. However, I would be willing to bet that the valid routings for coach fares and Q-UPs for identical city pairs would likely be similar... |
