winner winner. Next time I see you, you're fixin to be 50 lbs heavier.
I've heard rumors that they're cropping up all over the area. There was an article in the local rag that they were trying to get into a spot in HPN (the city, not the airport. The airport concessions are limited to whatever the employees don't eat for lunch) but I guess there's a problem with the space they're trying to get. At least it means someone bought the rights to the franchise up here and is aggressively pursuing it. I've had franchised 5 Guys, but it's not the same as the "real deal" (with Bill McNeil). If you want to go to the mecca, you have to go to Falls Church or Springfield (VA). There's a FatBurger about 2 minutes from my house. I think it was the first one to open on the East coast and I was ecstatic. It's so disappointing though. Which, I suppose is a good thing. I have not tried the Hoboken edition yet, I tried it down in Athens GA , and it was goooooooooood. |

Correct and BR is EVA Airways. Elite class is similar to domestic first class. You have individual AVOD, decent meals (not great, but decent) and pretty good seats. Outbound you could do EWR-TPE-HKG. With either Premium Laurel or President's Club card, you can have access to a decent club in TPE. BR is a pretty good airline, and their elite class (which can usually be had for the same as CO's Y) far surpasses Co's Y. The EQMS are to/from TPE; RDMs for flights beyond TPE. |

Each time I see one of their burgers, I nearly have a stroke.
Harold's Diner on HHH has the best burgers I've ever had. Sounds kinda like ALCO's MSY place. Harold's is more or less strictly a locals spot and it's about the size of your computer monitor. If word gets out amongst the touristas, it'll be unbearable. They have absurd hours and the service is non-existent (they don't hesitate to yell at their customers for being idiots or a-holes), but that's part of the charm. That, and the food. Oh. My. Goodness. baglady, ever been? |

The 5 Guys on 55th between 5th and 6th is solid. And empty, too. No more need to wait in line at the Burger Joint at Le Parker Meridien.

I thought the post-golf burgers we had in ACY were rather good as far as sit-down service.
Morning, Box! Question of the day: do I go to my Rotary lunch or do I sit in bed and pout because I might be getting sick? I also have to run to one specific bakery for babka. |

Are we talking about the burger place in NJ, Five Guys Burgers and Fries?
I have never been there yet. I have seen a few through out the area, one in Hackensack at the north Path-Mark shopping center with the Home Depot and another one in Wayne on State Hwy 23. My co-worker was telling me about this place yesterday, only he said it was the worst food he has ever had. |

It is raining in SAN. Again. Any bets as to whether or not we beat Monday's level of more than 366 accidents on the freeways?

Gotta love burger places that let you specify Medium Rare on their half-pound patties. For a burger or steak to be cooked properly, a shot of Vitamin B-12 and a properly trained veterinarian ought to be able to get a pulse out of it. Apologies to our Box-Vegans :D

...I'll go ahead and jump on that apology bandwagon. Everyone is free to do (or not do) whatever they want. ^ |
