Her family asks me that same question about the movie every year, and all I can think to say is that I didn't grow up watching it, and on top of that now that I'm watching it as an adult, I can't help but think that I want to choke out the goofy little brother for refusing to eat.

I also heard a rumor that the kid who played Ralphie ended up doing porn. Can't find anything to back it up though.

We'll he did have that thing for the Frag-illy leg. ;) It's apparently is the actor who had his tongue stuck to the pole that took his acting career in a different direction.

Not to worry, that movie use to bug me like mad with it first came out. But after years of seeing it 15 minutes at a time, I figured I had to watch it all the way through to see what I've missed.

My wife still hasn't seen it!:eek: I DVR'd it today. Unless the hard drive fails, she has no excuse not to watch it.

Me :(. On my flight back to NYC last night I sat in front of Juwan Howard (former Rockets player). It was kinda funny watching him try to fit in the restroom. Good thing I was still full from lunch becaue the Jumbalaya was served cold:td:

I am never surprised when a visitor fails to find time away from family obligations. I know that he is not at all at fault, especially on a very short visit such as CM's. The local parents and grandys are very jealous of their visitors' time and plan carefully in order to monopolize it.

By the way, why was that visit so short? As soon as CM got on the plane to go home, the weather turned back to glorious. I don't think that I will walk over to the beach but the pool is looking pretty good right now.
