Historically, New Jersey was divided into East Jersey and West Jersey.

Did you try making it TSS-EWR-LHR? If that doesn't work, you might have to pay the higher helo fare and nest it.

While historically true, no one holds to that today. Personally, I think if any more divisions are going to be attempted, it should be this one: section off only the AC Expressway and Absecon Island (AC/Ventnor/MargateLongport) and Ocean City. Refer to it as East Philly.

Can we throw Wildwood in there as well? Ugh - I hate Wildwood.

Cool, you get to play COPS: The Home Game.

Unfortunately, Wildwood has the best beach in the southern half. It's huuuuuuuge compared to anything else between there and Sea Girt. As far as not feeling cramped, maybe only Island Beach State Park gives it a run for its money.

INice. I'd have to disagree with this though. I like to think that Central Jersey is where most of the "normal" people in the state live. A lot of North Jersey is full of extremely rude people and most of South Jersey is just...well, weird. (No offense intended to anyone in The Box as there are, of course, exceptions!) :D

Unfortunately a lot of people from Staten Island have moved to Manalapan and other parts of Monmouth County and they are far from normal people. Maybe if we cut Monmouth County out of any definition of Central Jersey then it holds true.

IMO, Island Beach State Park is by far the best beach in NJ (especially the quieter areas past the 3 public beach areas).

The Wildwood crowd just ruins any goodness the beach itself has to offer.

I used to live on the inappropriately-named "Liberty Street", where various neighbors seemed to be arrested often.

I don't need an excuse, but the quantity does go up when they are here.

Okay, b:rolleyes:x -- come through for me ...

If you've got the DVD of the 2007 movie Hairspray, what is the music played at the very end of the credits. It's a 1960s retro modern instrumental. While listening to it, you can almost hear an announcer telling you what it's going to be like in the future. I need to get a copy of that or of something like that along with some retro clip art (swooshy stars, etc.)

I'm glad I didn't have to watch it again. Did you find the retro clip art?

His "birthplace" is almost within sight of where the golf was last summer. You guys had to cross Jimmie Leeds Road to get to the course.
