I *hope* I have successfully fixed Firefox on my home computer, which has been crashing repeatedly for weeks now, sometimes as often as every two or three minutes. After a complete uninstall and reinstall of the software, it now seems to be back to normal. Hopefully this continues. My poor home PC was becoming completely unusable for surfing the Net.

I hear the new safari for windows browser is pretty good. Have you tried that?

No kidding. The latest Accord is huge and heavy. I much prefer my generation of the car, inside and out, than the current one. I feel the same way about some of the latest Acuras.

The new Accord does an admirable impersonation of a BMW from a distance. And how I wish that I wasn't too tall for a TL - I love the look of that car but when I sat in it, I knew I couldn't deal with it comfort-wise as an everyday driver. Believe it or not, I fit into my father's Corvette easier than I do a TL.

Really? I find the TL just fine in the driver's seat.

The exterior of the new Accord has slowly grown on me. However, I still prefer the previous generation. And I'm not a fan of the interior; they took what was an uncluttered, easy to use system for the audio and climate systems and switched everything to rows and rows of buttons, and it's a mess now. Not a fan at all. Reminds me of some of the first driver information systems and automatic climate control systems on high-end GMs in the early/mid-1980s where there were tons of buttons. The old layout Honda had was so much nicer than this current setup. And the elimination of touch-screen controls on the nav system and going to a dial that you turn to make choices is just retarded, and a huge step backward.

From quite a distance. When I praised the Accord I was comparing it to others in its class. For goodness sakes, it is merely a front-drive economy family sedan (mostly found in this country with automatic shift) and nowhere near the equal of most BMWs built in the last fifteen years.

Which version? The last two (3.0.6 & 3.0.7) have been trash, annoying even when they're not crashing. I've been tempted to go back to IE until FireFox self-updates to something functional.

I switched over to Chrome as I was tired of Firefox, though I also use the x64 version of IE8 as well.

My problems started with 3.0.6 and continued into the current release, which just came out about a week ago, 3.0.8. Uninstalling and reinstalling seems to have done the trick, though. I've tried everything that was going on that was triggering the crashes — typing in a field, multiple tabs open at once, watching videos, etc. — and so far it's been stable for a few hours. Looks like I'm back in business.

Haven't a clue! We are going with friends to the house they own there. I haven't been before, so I have no idea where it is on the island, other than it takes about 45 minutes to get there from the airport, I think!! Who cares! It's 85 degrees and sunny. Yeah! Bye-bye cold old NJ, and hello sunshine!

Great for the driveway, :( for MRs.

Bye, bye box. I'm going to Bonaire. Have a great time at The Palm tonight for those of you who are going. Wish I could be there with you. I know it will be great fun.

See you in a week!

I almost got bumped on my flight today, but someone neglected to show up at the very last minute. I had confirmed seats on later flights in F, connecting for more miles, with only a four-hour delay. So near, and, yet, so far.
