The 5:40 am flight out of LGA is the only way to go:rolleyes:. I bet you got your upgrade (as gold) at the 3 day mark too. I am usually on the 5:40 am on Saturday's and have never not gotten my upgrade even when I was silver.

Ahhhh spring is nearly here on the North Coast. My Dutch bulbs, some certified some not*, are starting to pop and the Goldfinches are moulting to their beautiful colors.

^^

* I had a nice agent at Customs let some through when I honestly did not see they did not have the magic seal. I still make it a point to grab some each time I connect through AMS. Great gifts and a lovely addition to my gardens.

Just got back from picking up all the vino for the wedding. Chilean Red (Montes Cabernet-Carmenere), Argentinean White (El Portillo Sauvignon Blanc), and Californian Sparkling (Domaine Chandon Pinot Noir Brut). Wonder if she'll notice if I crack into the cases? :D

Sounds like a good time last night. Sorry I couldn't make it there in person, but I did get into proper Box spirit with some Glenmorangie.

Yes, that was hilarious.. And so fitting!

Chavon is EWR-based, I believe. Could very well happen.

I am intent on bringing bulbs home (or having then shipped) when I go next month. My fiancee's sister just bought a house and I told her I would try to take some floral pics for her so she has cheap decoration for the new house. No, she's not getting the prints and frames free.

My loquats are fruiting, and are quite tasty. I need to make some loquat chutney.

Mulberries should be ready in about a month, and limes by August. I need to get my hands on some non-ornamental bananas, that actually put out fruit.

There are some great shopping options at AMS so you do not have to drag them around with you during the trip. Just make sure that they have the metal seal on them and you declare them. Otherwise, the DoA beagles will hit on your bags!

Due to my travels to Hungary last summer my lawn and garden went , so I need to do some major work this year.

First step, find some way to strengthen the backyard against doggie pee....
