Phew what a night! I need a nap already!

It was great to meet dergon darkhelm and friends - I hope you guys enjoyed your evening!

Sorry I missed you guys last night - but I really needed to just go home and grab a shower after an entire weekend of flying. I'm pretty sure I couldn't have handled much tequila! :)

Same here. I am, in fact, taking exactly such a flight on a 738 at 5:45 on a Saturday morning out of LGA. 5/23. What day are you going?

I expect nothing in the way of EUA's as a Silver, but this is the flight that (after DEQMs) will get me to Gold - and then hopefully we'll be talking...

Wow, I cant believe how fast that flight is filling up. At least there are plenty of open seats up front.

Good Morning Box! I too have been getting the 8 hrs of sleep others have talked about. The sad part is I usually am still tired. I think I am getting too much sleep and my body doesn't know what to do with all of it!!

SO sad. Another drinking victim to airline travel, first it was ALCO and now you.

Morning Box!

It was great to spend time this weekend with Hartmann and sdm1130. Nothing better than stepping off the plane in FRA and seeing some friendly faces in the airport there and then the flight home.

^^

Agreed! The timing of us walking around that corner was perfect!

And, for those voicing a concern in COFlyerCLE's turning down a drinking opportunity - I did witness him enjoying a beer between FRA and EWR. :)

Good Morning Box. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Did a MR this past weekend, slept most of the time, couldn't believe it, actually got more sleep than if I had stayed home.

Also, I am seriously thinking of not using a backpack again on a MR as I had to confront two idi:rolleyes:ts shoving their rollaboard into the overhead regardless of what bags are in the way. And my laptop was in the backpack.

I cracked open a fantastic wine last night, but was sad to see it go, as I don't know of anywhere in the U.S. where I can get ahold of another bottle. It was a bottle I picked up in Uruguay last year... Maderos de San Juan Pinot Noir. Even better than the Pinots I tried in New Zealand, IMO. Don't see myself getting back down to Uruguay any time soon, unfortunately. :(

Didn't miss much on my end ---jsut a quick hello to MBM3 and a shot for his b-day.

His table of 12 or whatever it was looked like it was just getting started as we were leaving though. :)

This weekend, Hartmann and I sealed our fate as lifetime aerogeeks - we took a tour of Frankfurt Airport. :D

It was actually pretty cool - they take you out on to the tarmac (in a bus) and show you all around T1, T2 and the cargo areas.

I'll post pictures (complete with glare from the bus windows ) in a few.
