EWR-MEX is $233a/i. Getting close to the acceptable threshold for a same-day turn.

$175-200 a/i for a same day turn with 777/767 for the EWR-IAH-EWR segments and I'm in. ;)

If wanted to know or cared about what some random ......... in Minnesota or wherever has to say about current events (which I do not, I assure you), I would read a blog. When I watch television, I expect to be told what noteworthy events happened on that day without editorializing or interjection of non-journalistic opinion from Twitter, Facebook, and random emails. Not that it is possible to find uneditorialized journalism these days, but I can do without the Twitter and Facebook comments by losers.

+1

I think we come around to this every two weeks.

That's the problem with the news channels nowadays, they're so darn lazy to do real investigative reporting they resort to Twitter, Facebook, et. al. I wouldn't be surprised if they thought they were hip for doing it this way.

This seems to be a recent phenomenon, i.e., promulgated within the last six months or so. All they talk about is what people have to say on Twitter and Facebook.

In any event, one of the main stories on CNN this evening is women withholding sex with men to force them to lobby for or enact legislation that comports with the individual woman's beliefs. Isn't that anti-feminist to imply that the only power women have over men is sex (despite that these CNN "feminist" female anchors seem to think it is a good idea)? I certainly think so.

I am ready to turn on Fox News just to escape the Twitter and Facebook "ireporter" nonsense. Hey losers, get a girlfriend or something and stop posting your irrelevant political thoughts on CNN Twitter or the CNN Facebook page and hoping that Roland Martin talks about it on his stand-in show for Campbell Brown.

Do any of you guys have experience with Chase for checking/savings accounts? Since I'm moving to AUS, I need to find a new place to do banking. Traditionally, I go with Credit Unions as they tend to want to screw people slightly less than banks have, in my observation. My wife had Bank of America before we met and those buttholes can go die in a fire as far as I'm concerned.

CO is offering 21,000 bonus miles for setting up a Chase checking account and I would get miles for purchases and since I use my debit card way more than my CO credit card, it would work out I think. I also have direct deposit so I won't get any fees or anything. I've also heard some  stories from people dealing with Chase but I've never had an issue with them for anything.

My goal is to fly down to MEX during the next two weeks with no more than one other passenger onboard the aircraft.

If you're fee-free with Chase, you're good to go. They might be  sometimes, but just do whatever you can to avoid human interaction.

I've had a Chase checking account in Houston for almost five years now and never had a problem with them.

I don't think any of the big banks are particularly great. But my involvement with actual people at the banks I have accounts with is limited to maybe once every two or three years, so I can put up with their idiocy on those rare occasions. I do almost everything online or at an ATM, and as long as the website is up and working, and the ATM is working, I'm a happy customer.

There would be at least six other Box residents on board to help drink out the AC.

Ugh, not any better IMO. I rather read the news online, at least it seems less sensationalized.
