Are you sure it wasn't ALCO? Oh, wait, he only drinks rum and bourbon in the PC and saves the gin for the aircraft, where they have proper gin (Sapphire). I don't blame him.

Sadly the Bourbon (Jim Beam - ugh!) and Rum aren't even that good. If I were stocking the PCs, I would opt for reasonably priced liquors that are actually good. e.g. Tanqueray (or Gordon's), Maker's Mark, Bacardi Anejo, Tito's (Texas Brand, reasonably priced), Famous Grouse, and El Jimador

Agreed. I'm quite respectful of the opinions of friends who have differing political opinions than my own, provided they are respectful of my opinions. The moment someone is offensive or insulting toward me and my beliefs, that's it. That's why I can't stand watching the shows on the cable news networks where people just yell at each other. Respectful, mature debate is one thing. Yelling and being downright hateful is something I can't tolerate.

I have found that the cheapest shipping option from B&H always arrives in NJ on the next business day.

It goes UPS ground from the warehouse so it should get to the vast majority of NJ in one day. The store is fun and they have a TON on display (unlike Adorama that has nothing) but it can be overwhelming if you aren't careful going in.

Walking into B&H for the first time is akin to walking into Disney the first time as a kid. Walking up to the counter and seeing all of the big white lenses that are on the sidelines at NFL games is a very :D moment.

One good thing about the CRC's (sorry, Sky Clubs :rolleyes) is that they stock Makers and Patron (if you like tequila, which I do not).

Got that right.

Since when? That REALLY sucks! I hope this isn't permanent.

Not a fan of the occasional margarita? The simple, normal 'rita that is served up without salt is fast becoming my first choice of drink while out to dinner.

I have a code right now that I am contemplating using, but I am not sure if it is even worth the time. The Clear lane at DCA usually just dumps out into the elite lane, which is usually never that long, so the time it takes you to go into the lane and do the Clear scan usually is about the same amount of time it takes to stand in the short elite line and have the TSA look at your boarding pass. At IAD, the Clear lane is downstairs on the baggage claim level with the employee security checkpoint. That can save some time, but with IAD's revised elite security lanes, it really isn't necessary.

Clear might be handy at peak times at the entrance to the US concourse at DCA, but I rarely fly US and if I do, I use the elite lane anyway.

I'm not convinced Clear is worth it either. My partner swears by it now that Clear has its own dedicated lanes all the way from start to finish at ATL. And when we were at LGA a few weeks ago, he was through security in less than five minutes, while it took me about 20-25 in the elite line. However, with the exception of ATL, Clear isn't at any of the airports I regularly use, and at ATL, the elite lines are almost always equally fast; the longest I've waited was maybe five minutes since they opened the new elite lines at ATL last fall. As a result, I'm not sure it's even worth going through the registration process if it's not really going to be of much benefit to me.

+1, but they are not as good up here like they do down in Tejas.

I can't drink tequila straight up. But I do love it in a good margarita.
