I want to publicly thank sfogate. She recommended a local CPA to help us w/ our taxes. Sure enough, this CPA came through. Our refund was a lot larger than I thought it would be. The cost to use him was reasonable.^ We may not need him next year, but if we do, I know where to turn. Again, thank you sfogate. And congrats on your son's soccer game. I still have a few years before my daughter participates in sports. She still needs to start crawling.
I remember I could hardly wait until my kids could crawl. Once they started I was sorry. I spent many flights walking to Hawaii from the West Coast since I had a child that refused to sit once she could move. |

There are a few things airline employees do well and drinking is one of them.
Of course I am always willing to go that extra mile and drink champagne. |

Reminds me of when I was a RA and some the football players were shocked to find out RA's would get drunk. I had to tell them dealing with the  would drive anyone to drink. |

Alright all - off to bed. It was a tough day of sitting on airplanes and drinking; I've really been up almost 20 hours.

Sweet. Thanks for buying. The bigger A300's have econ numbers fairly close to 763ER's.

I am sucker for the aircraft models in the duty free catalog. The NW model is really detailed, up to the point where the engines turn.
The website is 200scale.com. The funny thing is the model was cheaper on the plane then from the actual manufacturer of it. |
Saw this snail mail from Chase and Continental:
(Emphasis mine) Since you told us the Double Miles Merchants program benefit limited your earning ability, as of April 30, 2009 that feature will be going away. |

--- Finally saw "Fast & Furious". That driving range in the movie is 2 blocks from my home. |
[QUOTE=rkkwan;11645022]I started collecting airline teddy bears a few years ago. But many airlines don't offer that anymore. Very :rolleyes:/QUOTE]
The same with models QF--A388 KL--zero BD--A320 + A332 only seem to have the A320 CO--zero NW--A333 |
here is my  story of the day.
I was at starbucks drinking a coffee and watching planes line for final at ATL. This girl orders her drink, some sort of frappe or what not. The place was busy and the barista dude is like making two or three at the same time. The girl is just standing there on her phone. She watches the guy, then when he starts blending this is what happens: Girl on phone (GOP): oh is my drink in there with other peoples? Barista: yes GOP: can you blend mine separately, it tastes different when you make multiple drinks at the same time. Barrista: sure (barista makes new drink in blender, and proceeded to blend. Finished and dumps in cup) GOP: oh can you double blend mine? Barrista: sure (dumps cup into blender, proceeds to repeat previous steps) GOP: talks on phone, takes drink and leaves. I look at the barrista, open my wallet and pull out a dollar and say, "here's a tip for not throwing the drink at the girl like I would have." |
Well I have done the box well. Had two glasses of wine on the house and just finished a prime ribeye with sides. HMMMM!!!!!
I also told my boss's boss that I made money more at the airport than I did at work today. Maybe no the best move! ;) Well I better get off to bed before I fall a sleep in this post and ALCO attacks. |

...Wow. That flight SUCKED....
First he turned down a free room and a pile of stone crabs (the colossals that are really hard to get) that we all had trouble finishing along with mucho vino and champagne to wash them down and Remy Martin Napoleon to finish off the evening. Second he passed on the mod dinner which not only featured a lot of cameraderie but a truly open bar which included all of the top shelf stuff, the entire wine cellar (including the bubbly), and quite a respectable dinner. All this for a silly-assed SK flight to TPA crammed into one of their lovely coach seats. TPA will still be there tomorrow but all of the other stuff went away tonight. Some guys just do not know how to live. |
