CO is pretty smart. When it is necessary for me to take them I need to buy a YUP and then they get the m:rolleyes:ney. When I need to fly DL, I can buy any kind of cheap advance purchase ticket and have been EUAed 27 consecutive times so far this year. :rolleyes:

And when you want to remove all doubt, you book that DL flight on a NW aircraft (see my YTD results as a silver in the signature).

I just got paged to the gate. The GA tried to put me on the nonstop to SFO (in F) that the original agent in the RCC wouldn't do. And some guy hovering over the counter tried to encourage me. He is first on the waitlist and gets my seat if I give it up.

Jeez, you guys in the northeast are getting nailed w/ hot weather. Record high in ACY yesterday. PHL looks to have tied the record high today. Thankfully, it isn't too humid from what I hear.

No - that's awesome. ^ Of course, one could only bring in about 6 bottles and an LEO might become involved after the joke is explained (because it would have to be) to the gate lice.

Nah. Who said anything about at the airport? Make them like the :rolleyes: cupcakes -- a distribution item at a Do which gains fame that way.

icurhere2, if BB-62 doesn't do it for you, you could always put ear and eye protection in your carry-on and we could pay a call on a pistol range I know local to PHL. You'd be renting a weapon, but it's certainly a great way to pass the time.

Sounds within the realm of possibility. I had thrown up a trial balloon for a Do coinciding with July 4th in BNA - firearms, then drinking, fireworks, the drinking, good food, then drinking, and Music City Mayhem - but that seemed to be voted down in favor of a Chattanooga or Knoxville Do ...

And I'm not a big "summer" fan. When I say I "crank" the heat all the way to 58 F in the winter, I'm not kidding.

I did not think that there were any 07s at ATL. All I have ever seen are 8,9, and 10 in that direction.

I did not think that there were any 07s at ATL. All I have ever seen are 8,9, and 10 in that direction.

hmm it was just a guess, I am under the northern most runway.

I assumed 27L was the intent - I don't know where any of the spotting areas are, however.

Speaking of not ordinary operations - crosswind takeoffs that were slightly with the direction of the AC at DTW yesterday ...
