MBM3 is a fun time. I would happily venture back to CLE for any Do/Meet/Thing that he is kind enough to organize.

Also agreed. I did not get to meet xyzzy but I did spend some time with MBM3 at the IAH E PC after the Do, and I continue to applaud their efforts.

Thanks guys. We try to be fair and make this an enjoyable experience for everyone, newbie or veteran.

I really want to attend one of these in CLE.......pretty please. :)

I will organize something again this year...

... right now I am working on some travel-related development projects and will work on another event after I get them up and running.

I am thinking another wine dinner, but we will see.

Hopefully not too later, i'm not sure I have any desire to experience winter in CLE. :D

I saw my neighbor out front this morning digging out his car as we were coming out to do ours. By way of greeting, he said "I used to love this s**t."

Come visit SAN; it's over 80 degrees today. I can't wait for it to cool back off later this week.

I'm a newbie - ish! Been a member since middle of January. I love reading the box, and have been posting for a few weeks.

Bit nervous of posting at first, because everyone seemed to know each other, and had lots of "know you" type of comments. But I fhave been made to feel quite welcome.

HA! Just looked at that list again. I had stopped at "Winnebago Man" and missed him. I'm not sure I would have recognized him, someone pointed him out to me today, he was featured in "Wired" magazine.

As WN is the only airline that flies non-stop BNA to hublet, should I connect through a SkyTeam hub or a *A hub on the way to such an event?

Welcome to FT.

There's a thread somewhere asking how elites prefer to be addressed by FAs. In a similar vein, should we now address Mr BagLady as Plus1?

As there is a legion of reprobates who know me as "Mr. Baglady" [/B], that is the nom de plane that I shall answer to; though I'll keep "Plus1" as a reminder as my true status.

SWMBO always told me that elites prefered not to be addressed by FAs? Am I mistaken? I was also informed that they were not to look an elite in the eye and various other rules that seemed to be taken directly from a Madonna tour rider.

Again, thanks for the welcome.

There is a Box Mini-Do in the works that is going to be at Big Ed's BBQ in Old Bridge. There are lots of people who post in The Box that have met and have done trips together, but the thing to know is that we all had a first post in this community. When the Mini-Do details come out, hopefully you'll be able to attend.
