Hey, kids! Been MIA for a bit, thanks to a crazy work schedule... Just managed to start catching up a little on FT today. Schedule hasn't eased up enough to catch up on 50 or so pages of the Box, however, so would someone give me a quick recap of last week or so? Anything earth-shattering that I missed?

I will organize something again this year...
... right now I am working on some travel-related development projects and will work on another event after I get them up and running. I am thinking another wine dinner, but we will see.

Did you visit the observation deck at BWI?

Now that you're approaching the half way point and haven't seen a bed in a while, would you do it again?
CO has treated me very well so far on this run, with plenty of food and booze as desired and typical friendly helpful FAs and PC reps throughout. On the BWI-IAH I just finished the pilot called out to use the lav. The FA replied that there was someone in the lav because apparently it looked like it was locked. Sitting in 1B I knew that no one was in there and told her this but she knocked and claimed that she heard someone in there. Another 10 minutes later (probably 30 since the pilot called out) another FA comes up and gave the door a solid knocking and pulled it open to an empty lav. The whole scene was rather entertaining. I would have had more sympathy for the pilot but as he is an Auburn fan I decided not to care too much. :p |

Your in trouble now. The real question is does he have as much time on his hands as you do to catch up on 840+ pages at 40 posts a page????
If he does, I have a to do list for him! |

Most likely yes. I'm actually reasonably well rested for only sleeping in 2-3 hour increments.

SBM12 is jetting across the country and soon across the Pacific in search of Bacardi. Sfogate's car got hit by a hit and run but she found out who it was. Scott6067 knows how to put together quite the dinner menu. The trapezoid rule sucks. FT 'search' sucks. FT itself sucked for a few days. Baglady was drinking margeritas with the nanny. No one from The Box won Mega-millions...yet. Tim Tams are great. There is such a thing as a part time vegan. The Box loves it some hot sauce. We can't speak of 24. Everyone is rebooking SPG awards to save points. Mexican coca-cola is great. ssullivan and Dilbert might be distant cousins. Tang will clean your dishwasher. Colpuck is a bump wh:rolleyes:re. The whole Box is populated by p:rolleyes:st wh:rolleyes:res. I think that's it. Oops, Olton Hall beat me to it. |

Also, for those of you looking at MRs and throwaway ticketing and dupe booking on the same flight, don't do it. My two reservations on CO 767 SEA-IAH tonight are causing all sorts of trouble. I cannot change/discard the one until I actually get to SEA tonight and then I basically have to convince the PC agent to trash those segments. I would've paid the change fee and moved those flights to a different day but the agents I talked to told me not to because it was more expensive that way. Hopefully the agent in SEA tonight can deal with it OK. |
